We stayed overnight at this Inn arriving very late, almost midnight. The receptionist was very welcoming and made the whole experience very quick and easy. We also had our dog with us, which was a very important requirement for us. The room had all that we needed for a our stay. and we had a very comfortable night.Checking out was just as smooth and friendly. 9/10 score.
+ Simple, good value, decent sized room. Good power in shower. - Non smoking room had that deep smoky smell on entering or that implied it had been a smoking room previously. Also woken at 2am by a persistent knocking from somebody who said reception had told her that the people she was looking for were in our room.
From arrival to check out nothing was too much trouble the staff were very helpful and friendly the rooms were spotless and the house keeping team Were great too coming in and tidying up.Days inn is very close to the outlet village cinema and supermarket a 20 minutes to the beach at porthcawl and half an hour down the M4 to Cardiff.we will definitely stay here again.
This Days Inn is handily situated, and is very quiet, considering its' close proximity to the M4. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom is very good indeed, with a nice shower. The housekeeping team are very efficient and courteous, and they leave the rooms immaculately clean every day. The reception staff are very helpful, and also very courteous. The main problem is that the room heater does not work. The room would also benefit from more 13A electrical sockets (there are only TWO).
Lovely hotel located on one of the services on the M4 at Bridgend. The receptionist (dale) was very welcoming and helped us immensely when our original room had a very loud noise coming from the fan in the shower. He very kindly managed to move us to a new room and was able to swap us for a twin bedroom. The rooms were very clean, the bathrooms were great and had a lovely waterfall shower. Very nice comfortable beds too!
I was very impressed with my stay at days in bridgend . The room was clean and well presented as was the other facalaties .there was a genorous stock of beverage selection in the room as well as a good sized and comfortable bed. Reception staff were pleasant and welcoming as well as well presented and very polite .there was also adequate breakfast selection. In all a very good and plesant stay .and value for money
Wasn't great, but wasn't bad. Definitely needs an upgrade, views from window werent great, bathroom was shabby, and there was quite a flat atmosphere there. It was clean however. It's okay to put your head down, so it does the job. I liked that it felt secluded, and tucked away which made the sleep feel more relaxed
Stayed here on the 25th of September 2017 and what a stay! Immaculate rooms with extra pillows blankets and sheets on the shelf in the room! Bit dated and could do with extra plug sockets but the cleanliness and the staff who go above and beyond make up for this minor issue! Close to local amenities! ENJOY!
I booked to go away here for one night in October booking through booking.com I had the money in my bank but said it couldn’t take so rang hotel 2 weeks ago and they said I can pay when I get there and that’s why it didn’t take my money. Got a notification today saying my booking has been cancelled so I rang up about this and the man I spoke was very rude, and said there was no history of me ringing before and said if booking.com can not take my money then they will cancel my new booking. He was not helpful and was being snobby as if he couldn’t be bothered to help a returning customers who usually loves this hotel. I do not think I will be returning after this experience.
Stayed here a few times now. The rooms are basic but you get what you pay for. The staff are always happy to help. They also offer smoking rooms. Rooms are very clean. The only bad thing I could mention is the baths/showers could do with a little upgrade.
