Ibiza is a great destination for anyone wanting to dance into the smallest hours of the night. We’ve picked three destinations on the island for a trip that combines partying with relaxation by the ocean.
Prepare to dance the night away in Ibiza Town, where you’ll find some of the biggest clubs between May and September. Big names in town include Pacha and Ushuaia, which takes place on a nearby beach. Explore during the day, and wander around the fortifications of Dalt Vila, the historic center. An array of museums and architectural sights make this a historical surprise in the island’s capital.
Use your rental car to explore the island’s picturesque whitewashed villages. Es Cubells in the south has spectacular clifftop views, while Santa Ines is famed for its almond trees. Visit Sant Mateu to see the traditional Balearic architecture, and to roam through the vineyards that surround the village. There’s a wine festival here every year, too.
Sant Antoni, or San Antonio as it’s also known, is a town on the west coast of the island. It has its fair share of nightclubs, too, but it’s also home to some of the most scenic spots. Sunbathe during the day on the rocks of Punta Galera, before heading to Cafe del Mar in the evening. This famous establishment offers drinks and live music while you watch the sun set over the Mediterranean Sea.
