Ubicación perfecta, hermosa casa frente al mar

Esta hermosa casa (con capacidad para 6 adultos y 4 niños) está extremadamente cerca del océano y de una playa de arena azucarada de Florida que a menudo está deshabitada, excepto por aves zancudas, cangrejos fantasmas, águilas pescadoras y róbalos. Esta propiedad cuenta con acceso directo a la playa para que pueda caminar directamente hacia la playa y hacia el Golfo de México, ubicado a unos 100 pasos de nuestra puerta principal. North Captiva Island presenta algunas de las playas más recónditas de los Estados Unidos continentales. Muchas veces al año, su familia puede ser la única en la playa.

Solo se puede acceder a North Captiva Island en taxi acuático y no hay automóviles en la isla. El transporte en la isla es en un carrito de golf que se proporciona con su alquiler, caminando o en bicicleta. No hay caminos pavimentados, solo caminos arenosos que serpentean a través de la vegetación tropical. Es realmente un entorno único. Palmeras, gumbo limbo y hermosas flores están en todas partes.

Nuestras actividades favoritas son pescar, bombardear, nadar y explorar la playa y las tierras estatales. Hay una gran cantidad de aves zancudas, tortugas de tierra, mapaches, pelícanos marrones, águilas pescadoras, garcetas, cormoranes, águilas calvas, ibis y sanderlings. Hay dos piscinas muy bonitas mantenidas por nuestro club de la isla a pocos pasos o en coche de golf desde nuestra casa. Kayaks y bicicletas también están disponibles sin cargo a través del club de la isla. El sábalo, la trucha de mar, el pez rojo, el róbalo y el pargo se pueden pescar desde la orilla. El bombardeo es una actividad diaria en la isla. North Captiva a menudo se describe como la capital del bombardeo de América del Norte.

Nuestra casa, Perfect Placement, está hermosamente decorada y completamente remodelada después del huracán Charlie. La cocina es grande y moderna con mostradores Corian, electrodomésticos nuevos y vistas al golfo. La casa es lo suficientemente grande como para que 2 familias de cuatro puedan alojarse cómodamente. Hay 2 dormitorios en el primer piso: un dormitorio principal con vista al golfo y un dormitorio de invitados con una cama doble. Hay 2 baños completos en el primer piso. En el segundo piso hay un amplio dormitorio con un porche privado y una excelente vista del golfo que podría servir como un segundo dormitorio principal. También hay una habitación con literas con 2 juegos de literas para 4 personas. Ambas habitaciones comparten un baño de salón.

Debido a que la casa está en la costa oeste del norte de Captiva, a menudo somos testigos de impresionantes puestas de sol que se pueden observar desde su habitación o desde la cubierta posterior. No olvides tu cámara para ayudar a capturar algunos recuerdos. Si tiene suerte, puede ver a Dolphin jugando en las olas, Tarpon mostrando los primeros rompedores y el legendario encierro de la pesca del pelícano marrón. Este tiene que ser uno de los lugares más bonitos e inusuales que jamás haya visto.

Wonderful stay

This was our second time on the island and our first staying at Perfect Placement. The house was much bigger than I anticipated and was more than sufficient for our group of 6 (4 adults, 2 children, aged 4 & 8). The kitchen was well-stocked with all the appliances and dishes one might need (doesn't always happen at rentals!) which was a nice surpise. The access to the beach was unparalleled. The beach chairs and a few sand toys that were included were a nice perk too! We love North Captiva and will certainly be back.

A Perfect Placement Indeed

This was a great place to stay for our family spring break vacation. The property manager took care of all our needs and requests. The house was very clean, and its location to the beach was great. I highly recommend staying at this property to experience North Captiva Island.

Paradise… with heat!

My overall experience exceeding my expectations. As it was my first time visiting North Captiva, I was nervous about the process of getting to the island and stocking the fridge with ample groceries for twin teen daughters and an 8 year old boy. Shally’s (the property management) made it seamless. I took all of their suggestions- Pine Island Taxi picked us up at the airport- they tracked our delayed fight which was so helpful. We were dropped right at Island Girl charters who loaded our luggage for the short ferry ride (about 20 mins) to the island. From there, Shally’s met us, took our luggage and delivered it to our house and showed us to our golf cart which we drove to the house (following them). We opted to order our groceries at Publix using Shally’s Form. For a 25% fee Shally’s delivered the groceries to our kitchen to put away. So worth it and MUCH cheaper than Instacart. So convenient. The house was spacious enough for my family (5) and my sisters’ (5). It was just a very short walk to the pristine Caribbean-like waters of the gulf! The island store has ice cream- that’s about it. The only restaurants open are Mangos, the poolside cafe, and Over the Waterfront, which books up quickly. In my opinion, both were overpriced for the quality of food so bringing your own groceries seems smarter. In the summer it is VERY hot on the island- too hot to utilize bike or kayak rentals for us. Kids were sometimes bored. But it was a very relaxing, safe family getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was so nice and supplied with everything that we needed! It has the most incredible views and Tropical Foliage! You will feel like you are on a Tropical Island in the Caribbean! Love Love Loved our stay! The only negative thing about this trip was that we had to leave when our week was up!

The Perfect Week

This week felt like it was out of a dream. Everything was perfect- the transportation to the island was smooth, the location of the house cannot be beat, and the house was spacious and comfortable . We had 3 generations in our group and Perfect Placement was the perfect size and layout for us. Communication with the property managers was excellent, as was their grocery stocking service. The beach was so close to the house even our little kids carried all their own toys there. There is also a little sandy area outside of the house where the kids would sit sorting seashells for ages, and the adults could sit up on the deck and keep an eye on them. The outdoor shower was our favorite amenity- the kids thought it was so cool to shower outside. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with our family! It was a week we will never forget- and hope to make an annual vacation.

So relaxing!

This vacation was everything we hoped it would be! The location can’t be beat. We enjoyed every sunset (and moon set) from the patio off the kitchen. Can’t be beat!

This was our third time to North Captiva and the second time to Perfect Placement. It certainly will not be our last to Perfect Placement. Alicia was more than accommodating by shifting our dates a few days when one of our family members on the trip had a death in their family. The house is top notch inside and out and well appointed. The foliage surrounding this house is the best on the island. We had an issue with one of the carts not holding a charge so I called the property manager and in less than a half an hour they had a replacement there for us. Shawn and Ally were great making sure all our supplies were delivered before we arrived so we had nothing to do other than enjoy our trip. The only negative thing about this house is you have to leave!

Beautiful property. We’ve stayed on north Captiva several times and this may have been our favorite property! Property managers were great and the house had everything we needed. Sweet location with your own private path to the beach. New 6 seater golf cart was awesome. Highly recommend!!

It is Perfectly Placed

The name of the home is apropos. The home is steps away from the beach with great views from the main living area and some bedrooms. You can watch the sunset from the upstairs deck. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook meals. Plenty of beach chairs and beach toys. We had a great week hanging out on North Captiva.

Wunderbares grosses Haus an top Lage!

Wir hatten einen wunder schönen Urlaub im Haus Perfect Placement auf Captiva Island. Die Kommunikation mit der Verwaltung (Shally‘s Seashells) verlieft reibungslos und sehr schnelle Antwort bei Fragen. Das bestellte Essen war bei der Ankunft schön eingeräumt und auch die Nachbestellung im Verkaufe der Woche klappte bestens. Das Haus ist sehr gross und bietet viel Platz für zwei Familien. Es hat übrigens sehr viele Gewürze in der Küche, ausser Salz würde ich in den nächsten Monaten nichts mitbringen. ;-) Auch Kaffeefilter, Folien etc ist ausreichend vorhanden. Der Strand ist sehr nahe und die Muscheln sind beeindruckend. Ebenso gut gefallen hat uns der Club Pool ink. Restaurant und Bar. Die Schäden vom Hurricane vom letzten Herbst waren teilweise noch sichtbar, aber nicht beim Haus, nur auf der Insel. Und die Aufräumarbeiten schritten schnell voran in der Woche wo wir dort waren. Kann ich definitiv für erholsame Inselferien empfehlen!

Great family visit

It was truly the perfect location. The house was clean and well stocked. Beaches were not busy and tons of shells right out the door. My kids had an amazing time. Lots of pool/beach toys and even a pop up kid tent and extra umbrella/chairs. We just packed our clothes and minimal essentials. Very easy and a great way to relax for a week. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed at Perfect Placement and had an amazing time! The location was amazing and we will be back! There was 10 of us so we ended up renting an extra golf cart but really did not need it. We hit Costco and a grocery store on our way to the docks and that worked out well. Really amazing beaches right out the door! Thanks

Perfect Stay

There was a group of seven us. Enough room for everyone to have there own space. The location was incredibly beautiful. We were able to sit on the porch or walk out to the beach every night to watch the sunset and the boys could fish. We had an amazing stay and would recommend to anyone.

Great stay!

Fantastic time at the house! Very spacious and well equipped. Loved being so close to water and not too far to walk from the Island Club pools. There was obviously a fair amount of damage from the hurricane around the island but this house you would never know there was any damage. Everything looked perfect. We went to the pool every day and watched sunsets just about every night. Even caught a fish from the surf and made fish tacos. Great place for families. Tons and tons of shells. Shally’s property management was great. Plenty of information prep was sent before our trip. I highly recommend using the grocery service. Made checking in so much easier without having to also haul any groceries. Loved this place!

Family Vacation

This house was perfect for my family. It is on a great part of the beach where the shelling is fantastic. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The management company made it so easy for our family to travel. The island is still very much recovering, but staying in this house made it totally worth it. The sunsets and beaches were amazing. We already booked for next year!

First time on the island

Property owners were great to deal with, house was amazing. Our first all family trip and we all enjoyed it so much and we will definitely be back. I liked the laid back feel in the island away from the hustle and bustle. A lot of good family time in the beach and meals together.

Perfect for our family

The house, location, and beach access were all perfect for 4 adults and 4 kids. Easy walk to the beach and sand bar for the little ones. Saw a lot of manatees, dolphins and birds as well as great shelling. Short golf cart ride to restaurants. The water taxi was easy to schedule (and reschedule) and on time. The property management Tortuga was fantastic, very responsive and helpful for anything we needed. Will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an idyllic island getaway.

Loved Perfect Placement

We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this house and the island. It was very clean, gorgeous views of the beach, and just a very short walk to the water. The club pool was never crowded. We loved all of the wildlife, especially the daily visits with the dolphins at dolphin beach. We cannot wait to return!

If you are wanting to take a trip where you feel like you are on a Caribbean island but still in the states, this is the place. We absolutely enjoyed the island and exploring it. Perfect placement is just as it states. Waking up to the breathtaking views were amazing! The house is very well stocked and In need of nothing. The only complaint that I would have is that the air conditioner upstairs would always quit throughout the night. Leaving it hard for us to sleep. They would have to come every day to fix it. It was stated that we were not to turn the air conditioner below 70 at night Or it would freeze. We abided by the rules but still would not work. All golf carts provided needed repaired. They were very old and we went through three of them. I do believe this is an island thing and not perfect placement. Overall, our family had a blast and we would be back to this house.
