Weekend in Capitola

Usually properties with such great locations lack in other ways, however this is truly a beautiful home in a beautiful location. It was clean, convenient, and ideal for a weekend with a larger group in Capitola. Communication with their customer service is also very easy.

Great: location is easy to walk around, pier, shops, beach, etc all within 5 min stroll. Views and outdoor spaces are really well done. Beds were comfortable and everyone enjoyed the space.Not so great: Location is great but it comes with some challenges. Parking can be difficult, no onsite parking, have to use a parking lot up the hill. The proximity to the pier and the parking lot means A LOT of noise in the morning starting around 5 AM. I understand the property has little control of this.I would recommend and am thankful for the opportunity to stay.

Wonderful stay

This is one of the nicest places we have rented. Beautiful view, convenient to the beach and the town, and plenty of space for our party of 2 teens and 5 adults, 3 of which were octagenarians, who fortunately were able to handle the stairs.

August in Capitola

Capitola has always been a local favorite and has made a great comeback from Covid and major storms, one of which destroyed the wharf. The wharf is back as of September so we unfortunately missed the opening, but truly made no difference in our stay. Beautiful kitchen and views from third floor of house, decent bedrooms and bathrooms. Property managers Christina and Amber at Kendall & Potter were helpful and responsive during and after our stay -- thank you to both :)

Awesome location and house!

You could not ask for a more beautiful location and house. The layout worked very well for our family of 5 adults and 2 children. The parking was a little pain because of only 1 parking permit but know that is out of your control. Would have been nice to have a spray nozzle on the hose by the entrance to spray off after the beach. All in all - great!!

Lovely home with extraordinary views!

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. The interior was amazing, the views were so lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The layout was perfect with four bedrooms and three bathrooms on the first level and the kitchen, half-bath, great room, balcony and deck on the top level. The kitchen was well equipped for meal prep and service (but no pantry of commonly used ingredients) and the grill was fun to have. The location is ideal and within walking distance to nearby restaurants, the beach, and shopping. Bring your own olive oil for the kitchen if you plan on cooking. Parking was a little complicated for our two cars, with one allowed to park onsite and the other one having to park in a lot 7-minutes-walking away, but there was ample space and time for us to unload our vehicles in the lower lot to get into and out of the home. Once you are in the home, however, you don't want to leave. Highly recommended.
