Wonderful views
Location and apartment views are the best part about this apartment. Can see sunrises and sunsets with extensive views of the harbor.
We had trouble with the check in. You have to pick up the keys from a lockbox at the prop mgmt location, about a mile from the apt. Instructions we were provided were wrong and although we tried to contact the office for assistance, no one was answering our calls.
The property is not well maintained or cared for. There are broken window blinds, towel bars and toilet flush handles that do not work. When the mgmt co was advised of problems they did address them in a timely fashion however not entirely fixed.
Apartment is located on a busy road which is very loud and on the third floor with no lift so you have to climb a few flights each time as mentioned in the listing.
Balcony and braai for us was unusable due to the amount of pigeon feces.
The mgmt office employs many people so one person does not deal with you. It becomes confusing when you are trying to address a problem and multiple people become involved.
Minimal basics (toilet paper, garbage bags, soap, ) were provided but limited and not replenished unless requested. There are no cleaning supples supplied.
Mgmt company provides weekly cleaning if stay is longer term.
Loadshedding can be a problem if you are not familiar with it. Make sure to get the app with the schedule of occurrences.
