Portside is a sought-after block in the popular leisure district of
Green Point. The apartment is tastefully decorated with luxurious
finishes and furnishing throughout. The building features a communal
pool deck and gym area, access control, and secure parking. Located
within walking distance of Cape Town Stadium, the V&A Waterfront, Green
Point Park, and the Sea Point Promenade. Table Mountain and the famous
beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay and just a scenic 10-15 minute drive
away.

The Space:

This designer 3-bedroom apartment seems to emulate the eclectic soul of
Cape Town. The layout is spacious with an open-plan kitchen, dining,
and lounge area opening onto a large balcony. The main bedroom features
a King bed and the other 2 bedrooms have comfortable queen-sized beds.
There are 2 lush bathrooms with walk-in showers and one has a separate
lux bathtub.

The pictures on the website have to be about ten years old. The carpets were filthy, the furniture was visibly worn, the kitchen wasn’t clean, the heater in the living room didn’t work, the bedroom heater was broken such that it only pointed directly at your head, the remote control batteries were taped in, and the lawn furniture was worn and unraveling. It was a horrible experience to be forced to stay at a property that did not meet my expectations for Vbor. I have pictures and videos that support the feedback I am providing. The videos show the dirty carpet, stove, and extremely worn furniture. I would be happy to share them. On day 3 the management company offered to clean however, that did not address the furniture so dirty and worn that I could not sit on, the carpets so filthy that you had to wear shoes at all times and the worn and unraveling patio furniture.
