Our Junior suite was a wonderful place to relax - so spacious, with views to 3 sides. The bathroom was very spacious. Room was always well serviced. There were generous supplies of tea and coffee. It was always a pleasure to approach the hotel - the porters welcoming, friendly and efficient. We found the concierges extremely helpful. The Guest Experience Team were proactive in ensuring we had everything and their kindness in making my wife's birthday special will long be remembered - thanks Sherman and Frances! Our stay at the Mount Nelson was magical. From the moment we arrived, we were so happy with the impeccable service and the beauty of the grounds. The Mount Nelson is truly a special hotel. It's physical location affords you an incredible view of Table Mountain. Rooms were spacious and luxuriously appointed with huge bathrooms. The service was outstanding, particularly rom Muchi the concierge who was very helpful in assisting us with planning excursions and hard-to-snag dinner reservations. High tea was a real treat and was even better thanthose I have had in London. We loved the Planet Bar and daily breakfasts, which were impressive and massive! I would highly recommend you stay at the "pink lady."

Seth (bartender) was always so pleasant, knowledgeable & overall a wonderful individual. Drinks were fabulous!!I would also have to mention one of the guys out front “Courage”. Always a friendly smile and a word of how my day was, where I had been & did I enjoy it. In retrospect all employees were outstanding. Piano player is fabulous!!

Wonderful stay at The Nelly, so great to be back , lovely to see familiar faces amongst the staff, as normal its 10/10 for everything, they just always get it right here, it’s why I think of it as my home in Cape Town rather than just a hotel.

Absolutely fantastic property and staff! It’s in a great location and the grounds are breathtaking. They have two heated pools and a great breakfast buffet that everyone rightfully raves about. The rooms are huge and clean and tastefully decorated. Absolutely no complaints about anything, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful getting us whatever we needed within minutes. Highly recommend!
