The rooms and bathrooms were clean. John, the front desk person and the cleaning people were nice and attentive. The kitchen was very small but had everything we needed to make simple meals. I think the pots need replacement. Some of them were scratched and I did not feel comfortable cooking in them.

Owner is a super cool, super nice guy. Overall a nice stay and would return again. My only complaint is the parking lot. If you don’t get a spot outside of the motel and have to park under the motel it’s very nerve wracking getting in and out without hitting any parked cars

Decent property, strange “rules”

The room was great for us because of the living room and kitchen. It was clean and housekeeping came daily. Parking is rough. The downfall was the strange overbearing communication from the property. AFTER you book a non refundable stay, you get sent a message from the property saying you must text them your email address. They send a list of rules 2.5 hours before check in and you are not allowed to check until you agree to them and give some 4 digit code they send you. I’ve never experienced that. You have to give a $100 cash deposit at check in as well. They text your phone at 9:37 pm a very lengthy reminder of “rules” and quiet hours. It felt very overbearing and unsettling and h you feel like you are being watched the entire time- even if you aren’t doing anything wrong, just enjoying a trip with your family. The beds and pillows are rock hard. The location is great.

Really great motel with tons of room, a full sized fridge, and icy air conditioning. Great little pool. The place was spotless as well. Would recommend and would love to stay again.

Within a block of the beach

There was some confusion at check-in but the delightful man helping us got it all fixed up. It was a shame we didn't schedule longer. Parking is really tight in their dedicated spaces, but space is at a premium everywhere down here. They provided plenty of coffee pods which was very sweet.

Don't bring a big car!

I will start by saying that everything the current owner and staff have control over at the Sea Scape Inn was excellent - staff were pleasant and kind, the room and pool area were clean, check in was easy, and there were some great restaurant recommendations for us. However this hotel was SMALL - from the room (admittedly my fault since I apparently booked the smallest one due to price), to the pool, to the cramped and uncomfortable parking. Unfortunately due to how Wildwood is set up, the owners couldn't do anything about this fact so I won't hold it against them. Again this was a cute, clean, pleasant place to stay if the following things are true: You're traveling with just your spouse and 1-2 young children, you enjoy being close enough to walk to the beach, and you have a sedan or small car. Do NOT bring a truck or minivan or even an SUV really. Just don't do it. Your kids will love the pool since its not deep, visible from basically all rooms, and you can send them to go play in the pool themselves as we saw a pair of 10-13 year old siblings doing one of the evenings we were there. The Wildwood Crest boardwalk is just a few blocks away. As long as you aren't bringing a whole army of people in a big old gas guzzler, you're going to have a nice stay here.

Nice staff. I found it odd that we were not given breakfast. That there was a $100 in cash deposit given in case sand and water was left in the room. We had to wait for deposit to be returned we made sure we vacuumed the room before leaving.
