Expensive but worth the price.
Room was very dated (I guess that is what to be expected when staying at the Jersey shore). Face masks were required, yet various guests walked past staff without masks and nothing was said! Also older gentleman who worked at front desk actually asked someone checking in to take off their mask because he was having trouble hearing her. Very disappointing! Pool and outdoor dining was great!
We will definitely be back. We enjoyed our stay.

Dear Orbitz Reviewer, Thank you for staying with us. We completed over a million dollars of capital improvements-replacing the entire air conditioning/heating, and hot water systems, two exterior facades of the building, all new hallway carpeting, tiles elevator landings, and 57 replacement windows. Half of our king bed style hotel rooms were partially upgraded with new TVs, usb ports for smart phones, new wall paint decor, and tiled floors trialed in some units. We had certainly hoped to change your expectations of a Jersey shore stay with this commitment- and understand there is always something more than can be done. We would welcome suggestions to work into our next year's plans. We value the health and safety that masks provide and do ask guests to share in that commitment. We have masks available at the front desk. We feel there is adequate signage and understand our obligation beyond signage to encourage compliance. We agree that observance of the mask requirement would benefit all- and have been pleased in general but do there are times where many more reminders are needed. We have shared your feedback with our staff and will work to make sure that we are not fatigued in our efforts to get folks to wear masks.
