The first time I was there was 3 years ago and was greeted by Joe the inn keeper. He was very pleasant. Just last week when I arrived I met Joanne, wife of Joe. She was so friendly that my wife and I hit it off right away. Breakfast was delicious both days and the location of the Inn can't be beat, 3 short blocks to the mall. The rooms are clean and very well priced. I would definitely recommend this B&B. Looking forward to going back next year. David & Lisa Middlesex,NJ
We so enjoyed our stay at Beauclaire’s. Perfect location, great company with the other guests, and warm hospitality from Joe, the owner. The breakfasts were delicious. The room was comfy and inviting. I highly recommend Beauclaire’s B &B.
We really enjoyed Beauclaire’s. Our room was on the 2nd floor and had plenty of space. We weren’t sure how we were going to like being ready for breakfast every day and dining with the other guests but it was great. The innkeeper, Joe, served a different breakfast for each our our 4 day stay. All were delicious! The peach was just down the block and easily accessible. I definitely recommend staying at Beauclaire’s Bed & Breakfast.
This was the first year we stayed at Beauclaire and we would definitely recommend staying here. The owners Joe and Joann truly do their best to ensure you feel at "home" here. The breakfast was delicious and intimate. The establishment as a whole has a lot of character and it is extremely clean and neat. The room was very comfortable and internet was provided free of charge. There is off-street parking, which in this area is almost unheard of unless you are staying at a hotel. Hat's off to the hosts.
My wife and I have been going to Cape May in the fall almost every year for the past 30 years. We stay at a different bed and breakfast every time and this year it was Beauclaire's. As usual it was a delightful stay. The inn is very comfortable, primarily because Joe makes you feel right at home. The breakfasts were terrific too. Definitely recommend a stay here.
This was my first visit to the Beauclaire. Joe was always around to answer questions and recommend restaurants and things to do. The breakfasts were excellent. Coffee and tea were available for early risers.
This was our second time visiting Beauclaire’s and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend away (especially staying at this charming Cape May bed and breakfast)! We stayed in one of the rooms on the third floor and could see the ocean from our window. The owner, Joe, welcomed us warmly and ensured that we were comfortable and also recommended several restaurants. We loved Joe’s casual style and his delicious homemade breakfast he made each morning! We enjoyed, too, meeting the other guests at the breakfast table and some lively conversations! There is a table in the other room though if you prefer to eat your breakfast on a quieter note! A big plus for us was that almost everything was a short walk from Beauclaire’s and if you don’t want to walk, Joe has some nice bikes there that can be used! We will be back and can’t wait to stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast again! Thanks again, Joe! Keith and Sharon
My husband and I have been celebrating our anniversary at Beauclaire's for many years. It is so nice to stay in a B&B that is laid back and fun! Owner's, Joe and Joanne, do most of the work on the property, including Joe's fantastic homemade breakfasts! The location is ideal, near the beach, shopping, and so many terrific restaurants. The front porch is the perfect place to rock or swing and enjoy the sites. We look forward to our return each year:)
Joe and Joann were exceptional hosts, friendly and down to earth. Breakfasts were amazing and plentiful. The location of the B&B couldn't have been better, a block from the beach and several blocks to restaurants and Washington Street mall. Being a solo visitor, I felt more than comfortable staying here. I felt like family. The room was clean and spacious. I will definitely be booking this accommodation again soon! I have stayed at many other B&B's in Cape May, Beauclaire's B&B Inn is the BEST! Thank you again for a wonderful visit!!!
This was our first vacation in over five years, and with only a two night stay, we wanted everything to be perfect. Though that is quite the unrealistic expectation, I have to say that it did come to fruition, and Joe and Beauclaire's was a huge part of it. Joe is a fantastic host and a talented chef. He takes the time with each individual guest, and is both welcoming and extremely helpful with his knowledge of Cape May. He suggested the Cape May Winery and the Peter Shields Inn, both of which exceeded the most grandiose of expectations. Our room and bathroom were comfortable and gorgeous, and the location could not be more ideal. We could not have been happier with our vacation. Well, we wish it would have lasted a bit longer. Thank you, Joe!
