The physical layout of the property is ideal with the balconies of most units overlooking the pool with an excellent view of the beach & ocean across the street. Using the balcony during daylight hours was far from ideal as lots of kids were always in the pool. Kids Pool = A lot of noise. If The Sandpiper was an adults only property, it would be truly ideal. Right now, it's not.
We loved the resort, right next to the beach and a close walk to everything
There are many options for accommodations in Cape May and The Sandpiper is one of the better options for a few reasons. First, they are reasonably priced for value when one considers they are getting an apartment (inclusive of laundry and dish washer) rather than a room. The Sandpiper's location is ideal, it is child/family friendly and they clean the rooms as if it's a hotel stay.
Private, quite, central, clean, comfortable, overlooking the ocean/ beach, pleasant.
