Christmas Stay 2023

My husband & I rent homes often. I would rate this property about a 3.5 compared to most we rent. We are very picky, cleanliness is our top priority. The property is clean. There are many other things that I’d point out which led to my rating. The home is dated, the master bathroom is definitely not what I would have expected. The shower is a very small, old, walk in with a cloth curtain. There are any traps in the bathroom floor. VRBO listed the property as having more beds than it has (said one had a king & 2 twins where the room only had 2 twins & was too small to even fit a king; it listed another as having 2 queens. There were no queen beds in this home). Numerous outlets in the home don’t work; one bedroom lamp didn’t even have a bulb in it. None of the clocks provided worked. A gas grill & fire pit are highlighted in the listing, yet the gas to run these isn’t provided. When I reached out to property mgr, they said that was the renter’s responsibility. I’ve rented so many homes with the same features & have never had this experience! There was a “starter kit” which provided 1 travel size bathwash/shampoo/lotion. One bottle of these for a home that fits 8 adults! There was 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom with no extra. No garbage bags were provided. Upon taking our first shower, the hot water tank in the garage started leaking a lot. I contacted the manager said they’d send someone out the next day, we never heard from them the entire stay! Wouldn’t stay again!
