We have stayed in Cannes and vicinity many times over the past ten years. We watched the redevelopment of the 1835 and the Quayside area and the result is a terrific hotel in a great location. The Spa is a real bonus and has an amazing rooftop hydro pool as well as the treatments you'd expect. Out of the main peak seasons it is great value.

Recommend booking a Sea View Deluxe room for beautiful views (see attached). We found the room to be great for couples. Breakfast was good and staff left no stone unturned. Only downside would be the cost of spa treatments and limited complimentary amenities.

A lovely hotel in an excellent position in the old town close to the marina and sea. As soon as we arrived we felt at home the staff were so friendly and accommodating in every way. The room was clean, bright and spacious. Breakfast was incredible and the choice was never ending-just fabulous coffee was excellent too! The staff really make this hotel and a special mention to Mourina I hope I got the name right was a ray of sunshine every morning. Whoever manages this hotel should be very proud of their staff and themselves -thank you all for a lovely stay .

Just returned from a short stay with friends at the Radisson Blu in previously mentioned in other reviews, rooms quite small, with very limited storage space....Price of drinks in the roof top bar really expensive, hence we only did this once....staff were pleasant, accommodating, and helpful...doors constantly banging, not sure if this was down to other guests,or housekeeping,or a combination of the two....However, by far our biggest reservation, was dogs being allowed into the breakfast restaurant. There were two present on our last day, and no one seemed concerned....Prior to our departure,we did mention this to the receptionist, who did seem quite surprised that dogs were present whilst guests were dining...Would we stay again ? We would have to enquire about the policy regarding animals in the dining area first...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. On arrival to the hotel, staff were very pleasant. Reception area is nicely decorated and looked inviting. We were offered breakfast for €35 each but declined as we were staying on a budget. Our room great, nicely decorated and clean. A perfect size for 2 people and adequate storage. We were surprised to find there was no wardrobe just a hanging rail. Our only downside for the room - there was no main light just beside lights. So getting ready in the evening meant the room was quite dark. The hotel is in good location, fairly easy to walk to from the bus station though compared to what I had read it was more a 15 minute walk than 5. There are many attractions within walking distance. On our last day we checked out at 12, reception kept our bags in storage and allowed us to use the hotel spa and facilities. We would definitely return.

In summary: Pros: Central to Cannes Cons: 1. Rooms too small not fit for purpose with almost zero storage but they will upgrade you for an extra €300!! Thanks. 2. Staff it’s 50/50 whether you get pleasant staff of absolute disgusting rude ones 3. Expect to be woken by other guests Dogs at 0800... 4. Breakfast is €70 extra per day 5. Parking is €40 extra per day (or park opposite the hotel for €21) 6. Food choice is very limited 7. Photos of hotel look far better than in real life We have stayed in many hotels in Cannes, Nice and Antibes... would we go back? Not for free I’m afraid.

The hotel is situated at the harbor front and beach. The Spa area is very nice and cosy with view to the see. The restaurants have excellent serivce, and the reception desk staff was very helpful. Breakfast is worth the money. The bar at the roof top has the most outstanding view

We had not very nice experience to this dissapointing hotel, by me maybe 2 stars hotel. Be very careful the rooms are far too small, no nice at all.I totally agree far too expensive for what it is .When you pay a lot of money of course you've got high expectations. I have already payed far too much for just bed and breakfast only, and they told me at the reception at the hotel to pay another 1000 euros to give me a room with see view. No , thank you. Can you believe we had not even wardrobe in our room ,they gave us a rail like in a shopping centre, with all our clothes exposed, it was like we slept in the wardrobe with our clothes in the back. If we waned to go to the pool, you had to pay 15-20 euros per person per day ,everyday, of course we never went, it was not nice anyway. I am sorry how is this 4 stars hotel (when we've booked this hotel Radisson Blu 1835 Hotel & Thalasso was 4 stars ),you have no access to even a pool. What did we pay for? Limited choices for breakfast, not the best pastries, I thought they are the best in France ,not at all. We are not going ever back ,and we do not recommend this hotel at all. The staff was not friendly, they were rude.

This is the second time we stayed at the radisson Blu in Cannes, it was only for one night but each time we had a great experience. We enjoyed the Spa, the breakfast has a good selection and friendly staff . The beds are comfortable. Overall great experience!

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We enjoyed our stay at Radisson Blu and I believe we will go back especially in the summer. Positives: The room was cleaned on a daily basis and to good standards. We got provided with all toiletries although had our own also a dressing gown and slippers to access the spa. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we had a query so credit to them. The views from the hotel were amazing especially from our balcony as we had a sea view. The decor of the room was good throughout and had been kept modern. Spa facilities were excellent and well kept, all pools and areas were clean. We had breakfast included which was very good as a lot of different options although we were quite impressed with their pancakes. Negatives: On our third day the hot water wasn’t working for some period of time therefore not able to have a shower but it eventually came back on. Also the spa is situated quite a walk away from the hotel. Thank you for our stay Radisson Blu.
