I would not recommend this property at all. Upon check-in, we were handed the key to a room that was clearly unclean. After informing the front desk, we were offered another room, only to find that it too had not been properly cleaned. When I went back down to the reception to explain the situation, the response I received was shocking: “Well how are we supposed to know if it’s clean.” For a hotel, this is completely unacceptable. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations any guest should be able to rely on, and the dismissive attitude from the staff made the experience even worse. The safe was not mounted, nor did it work, so all valuables were at risk. As per my photos, you can see you can just carry it away. This stay was disappointing from start to finish, and I would strongly advise looking elsewhere if you’re considering booking this property.

I was offered the option of a “fully-serviced apartment.” However, the first apartment offered had bed bugs crawling all over the bed. When I called to complain, they simply said that insects are common and begrudgingly moved us to another apartment in the same building. Though the apartment was fine, it had no AC in 30 degree Celsius weather. When I noted that, they simply opened the window and said there is a nice ocean breeze and said that all rooms in the hotel didn’t have AC - which I later found to be false. I packed up all my things and left without even staying a single night in my overall 4 night trip. Even with all the photos and complaints to validate my claims, it took me 3 days to finally receive a refund for this stay. Would not recommend.

A last resort.

Where to start with Palm Beach. If you're looking for somewhere purely for location, go ahead. Otherwise - do not bother. There's no lift - I walked up 3 flights of stairs to a room with no assistance for my case, to check into a room which had a locked / inaccessible safe, one towel, no bottled water, no working phone and nails sticking out of the sliding wardrobe door. The receptionist wasn't helpful at all and finally moved me to a room on the 2nd floor when I complained - not sure why she didn't give me that room to begin with when I made it clear I wasn't happy about dragging my case up 3 flights of stairs. She wasn't very with it at all. The 2nd room had the same issues - a locked / inaccessible safe (the receptionist spent 15 minutes trying to open it with a variety of keys), lack of towels, no water in the coffee machine, a phone that didn't work and - you guessed it - more nails sticking out of the sliding wardrobe door! The receptionist apologised and said this had never happened before and that I must've been unlucky with my room - which is hilarious as the 2nd room had all the same problems. Carpets in the rooms need replacing - they're completely worn out and the setting for breakfast is a little depressing although the selection offered was good. The bed was also really comfortable so that's probably the only plus. In total, I met 3 receptionists during a 1 night stay and only one of them was actually on the ball.

Great location, a short walk away from the Promenade de la Croisette and nearby beaches. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable and clean. Check-in and out was easy, and the staff very helpful & friendly. Would definitely return and stay here again. :)

It was the smallest room and even wardrobe was a child sized. Hotel is very small and no sign visible from the street . Very strange breakfast setup and only the last day I realised I could have an egg omelette,rather then just a yogurt and a croissant,when it was served to another guest .

Good location, good cafes & bistros,near the beach

Very close to the 'locals' beach in front of the Isles Lerins, quietly tucked away but lovely bistros and cafes and the beach on the doorstep. Relatively easy cheap or free parking - rare in Cannes. Not really a 4 star hotel by 'normal' standards but not bad for Cannes. Very nice, attentive staff but unfortunately, they could not really resolve the erratic and inefficient wifi which made me wonder how suitable this is for business clientele. Room small but spotlessly clean and large shower-room - also large desk corner for working but without a functioning light or lamp, and of course no reliable wifi. Great breakfast in the little courtyard-patio. Would be great if management could review their facilities for business travellers - we need real-fully grown wifi on our mobile AND our tablet/iPad AND our laptops. We also need a fully functioning reading lamp on the desk area and ideally another one at the bedside.

Palm Beach HOtel in Cannes, France

Overall, it was adequate. The carpet was a bit dirty. And, the air conditioning was pathetic. The sheets and towels were clean. I reluctantly put down that I would recommend.
