Loved this small charming, boutique hotel. Room was large and clean with a nice little balcony. We found the location to be ideal and is just a short walk from the station (handy for Monaco) and the Marina. There is a wide choice of places to eat within a 5-10 minute walk. The breakfast was great with plenty of options and we did enjoy the evening open bar which had a wide selection of drinks and a few nibbles and gave the opportunity to socialise with other guests. Overall a great little hotel in a central location with great staff which I would recommend, particularly for couples.

This is a nice hotel with a good location. We stayed here for three nights in November while visiting Cannes and family who live just outside of the downtown area. Our stay was very nice and we had a rotunda room on the 3rd floor. It was quiet and comfortable. Despite being on the street side, it was surprisingly quiet. Service was very good. We enjoyed breakfast in the ground floor dining room. Staff was friendly and accommodating! On our first night we kept the door to the bathroom closed. That allowed the bathroom to get quite cold. After that we kept the door wide open to circulate the heat from the room. There was no heat outlet in the bathroom. Our visit was during a slow time in Cannes so the hotel was not crowded and the pace in town was relaxing. The hotel is a moderate walk from the train station.

I visit Cannes quite often due to the television market and I always choose the Cavendish because it is like being home. Lovely attention, familiar & comfortable hotel. I love the breakfasts. Strongly recommended!

Really lovely boutique hotel. Fantastic, helpful staff! Loved the homely touch with the open bar in the evenings. Looking forward to returning already! Appreciated the clean sheets and towels on a daily basis.

I travelled to beautiful Cannes with six girfriends this weekend.I had a rotunda room on top floor with a splendid view. Choose this room if you get the chance. Breakfast is ordinary. Happyhour form 6.p.m. to 9.p.m. every day was excellent. The staff in the restaurant is very service minded and charming. Thank you to all of you. I will Return to this hotel.....

This Hotel is really as good and charming as other guests has said of it. We stand at one of the Rotonde room - it is just superb. The terrace is just wonderful and you really feel you are at French Riviera. Receptionists are very helpful and informative about everything in Cannes. The restaurant suggestions they advised and booked for us was brilliant The open bar on every evening is a welcoming concept, the room was every evening filled with friendly fellow guests. We enjoyed the stay and will return if we have the opportunity.

From the moment we stepped through the doors we knew that this was going to be a pleasant holiday. We were booked in in a most efficient manner and were shown a map of the area to get us familiarised by the lovely receptionist. We took the 1920's Elevator to our room and the bags were bought up very soon after. The room was very clean and tidy but still with an old fashioned feel in keeping with the general ambiance of the hotel. We cannot say enough on how friendly and courteous all of the staff were during our stay. The breakfast was a great start to the day every day as was the complimentary bar at the end of the day. We will definitely return for another stay in this superb hotel.

Must've been our 10th visit to this lovely, relaxing and beautifully run hotel. Christine and her team operate a well oiled machine which ensures guests are comfortable and enjoy the facilities, primarily the delicious breakfast and the unique tradition of complimentary drinks for residents in the early evening to encourage socialising. The staff are very friendly and helpful-special mentions for Reda and his other colleagues. One very small thing-the curtains in our room (the old Blue Room) are very thin and make the room light at night. Perhaps some heavier material could be used-the old shutters were great as they allowed one to manage the darkness. Will be back next year.

I absolutely loved everything about Le Cavendish Hotel! Right from the moment we arrived Veronique greeted us and let us check-in to our room one hour before the usual check-in time. The location was perfectly situated on the main boulevard, only a 10 minute walk to shops, restaurants and waterfront. The superior room was a perfect size, very spacious and so was the bathroom. Room beautifully decorated and clean and a gorgeous terrace to look out onto the streets below. The buffet breakfast was splendid! So colourful and such a wide range of delicacies to choose from to suit everyone's tastes. The dining room staff, specifically Konstantin was such a delight. Every morning he greeted us with a smile and made our coffees and always made sure we had everything we needed. The cherry on top of the cake for this hotel was the free nightly open bar from 6pm-9pm. Perfect to sit an enjoy a glass (or 2 or 3) of your favourite beverage before you head out to dinner on the town! Anyone travelling to Cannes and looking for a hotel that ticks all the boxes - this is the one!

We loved the hotel and the stay from start to finish and were sad to leave after 6 days. We were made very welcome by the staff hours before our scheduled check-in time, and all were very willing to help with anything we needed as well as with knowledgable advice or suggestions on trips or places to visit. The fridge in the room was very useful as was the free bottles of sparkling and still water provided daily. Breakfast was a real treat and we were glad it was included in our booking. The room was spacious, clean, classy and comfortable but the real Bonus was the pre dinner drinks provided free of charge that encouraged a convivial atmosphere in the bar before all guests headed off their separate ways ( or together). We made several friends amongst other guests that just added to the enjoyment of the break. Quite a few of the couples were there to celebrate anniversaries giving a romantic feel. We had a memorable 30th wedding anniversary and have booked to visit the hotel again next year as a base to explore more of the French Riviera!
