I stayed here for a month and half when we moved to France. The experience was good. The hotel staff are quite friendly and try to help you as much. However there were some basic things like toilet paper which they forget to replace every week when they clean. Otherwise it's a good residence to stay when talking about cleanliness and ambience of the residence. We had a horrible experience with another vacation rental in Antibes. This was much better. The reception hours are good as well and they are there to address your needs most of the time. The residence has a laundry on the 3rd floor which is accessible 24 he's not like other residences which close along with reception which is of no use. Swimming pool is also situated on the 4th floor and is quite good. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place with all amenities and decent price. The parking is paid and you always find a parking place in the garage. No surprises there. On the whole a good residence.
We had a studio apartment with a good size balcony for one week in mid October. The building of the apartment block in front has now been completed . Our accommodation has been refurbished and was fresh and nice and clean. It contains a fridge, dishwasher & microwave. We were facing the back which has a nicer aspect and plenty of sun. It was overlooking trees with many birds & squirrels running around. Children playing in the school nearby did not interfere with us. Pool area and sundecks were well maintained. There was a laundry on our floor. Items like iron can be requested at reception. We were able to use internet in our room. As we had a car it was easy to do shopping in either of the small or very large nearby Carrefour(walking distance). Decathlon is also in short driving distance. Car parking is beneath the building. There is a number 6 & 9 bus a short distance away & a number 1 on the road behind which has a better service. All for €1. They don't run late though. All the staff we encountered, especially Cyprien & Tom were very helpful when we required extra equipment and spoke English very well. Office hours are 9-12am & 15-18.00pm in the winter time. Antibes is certainly worth a visit & would come here again.
I have lived in Odalys for a little bit more than two years, and I can say that it has the best quality/price ratio, the furniture is pretty fine, and it has a small swimming pool... Moreover, the people in the reception are very helpful and helped me with any problem I had. If I have to come back to Antibes I will come back there for sure! I recommend it 100%
We visited with my husband and 2 children. We booked the 1 bedroom apartment with 2 singles beds for the children and a fold out double bed in the living area for us. It is really clean and very good price. There is a fridge, 2 ring hob, microwave and fridge with everything you need for cooking , pots, pans, cutlery etc . The number 1 bus stops outside which will take you into the centre of Antibes in 10 minutes which is much more relaxing that hiring a car. There is a lovely small pool on the roof and a sun terrace as well. The area is reallly safe as well. There is free wifi as well. Also, there is a shopping centre within 5 minutes walk with a hugh Carrefour. There is a Decathlon as well close by.
The picts shown on their website have nothing to do with the reality. It's dirty and old. NO LAUNDRY INSIDE. There isn't anything to clean and it's not equipped. The internet connection doesn't work at all. The reception opens when you don't need them and the location is a crap! Seriously this place is a joke!
As noted by others a car (extra charge for parking!) is a must, because this hotel is nowhere near any holiday destinations. It also is an extremely noisy location because of construction ( which makes on-street parking impossible) and the shouting and screaming from the schoolyard near by. Sleeping late is impossible except on weekends. Another potential negative is that there is no telephone service in the rooms, other than an intercom to the reception, which is only open from 8 to noon and then from 4PM to 8PM. A cell phone is a must, if only for safety's sake. The rooms are a decent size and the place is clean. The kitchenette has a microwave, a cooking surface, fridge, dishwasher and a fairly good supply of dishes and utensils. The multi- lingual staff is affable, helpful and eager to please (during the hours when they actually are present)
Facilities, room, buffet breakfast, swimming-pool in the terrace, parking are ok. Nice persons attending at every moment. Location with scarce services (restaurants, etc.) around, since it is in a business park, difficult to find even with navigation system, and old appearance of the building inside.
A pleasant stay in this apartment hotel. As noted elsewhere there is a construction site directly in front of one complete side of the building, which has unbearable noise after 0730am. However on both of my stays I was given a studio apartment on the rear garden side of the building, and had five very good nights sleep. The hotel is offering really good rates right now, but one hopes they are advising customers of the downside of the building work. The second issue is that free nearby parking is almost non existant, so factor in the 7€ parking charge for the secure carpark. Be aware that the carpark lights are on a short timer, you get plunged into darkness and have to search for the switch.. Apartments are clean, well equiped with good wifi, makes an ideal base for a business visit, great to have a kitchenette to make a meal rather than look for a restaurant everynight. The nearby bowling restaurant was awful and rude, I would recommend walking up to the Campanile Hotel for the buffet about 300m away. Breakfast on the top floor ( with a first class view of the said construction site) was excellent, good choice and cheerful staff.
Negatives: 1. No English Channel on TV 2. You have to have a car if you stay here 3. Too far out 4. Pool closes too early 5. No children's pool 6. Nothing to do in the area- only a Carrefour and a mc Donald's. Otherwise you are in an industrial estate We were very disappointed overall with the location. The apartments themselves are clean and modern. We relied on buses to get us in and out of Antibes. Last bus was 8 so we never could socialise in Antibes at night!!!! A glorified hostel in a poor poor location.
The hotel itself is quite okay - some issue are described below. But the main issue is that just couple of meters from the hotel is a construction site - so, you're lucky, having windows to the other side and you "just" hear them digging into the ground. Or you are not and you look at the huge hole with heavy machines in it. The rooms are quite comfy, air conditioned, microwave, dishwasher and fridge are in place. There was a balcony, big enough to have a dinner there - with table and four chairs. No light there though and the balcony doors couldn't be locked (we were promised that maintenance will look at it, but nobody shown up). There is a pool - located on the roof, also with quite big sun lounge. But the pool itself is quite small and overcrowded all the time. Also it closes at 7pm(!?) Staff was quite okay, good level of english at the front desk, but the reception is not 24/7, but just some hours mornings and evenings. If you plan to arrive after 8pm, you'll be provided with codes and guideline how to get to your room. The location is fairly close to carrefour, in the residential area, about 3 km from the coast, 10 km to cannes, 15 km to nice. Okay location if you have a car and want to go to coastal cities. Do not know when the nearby construction would be finished, but since they're just starting, the hotel is ruined for at least next year
