Privilege Hotel was amazing!!! Great location, Amazing views, great service and everyone there was so friendly! I would recommend this hotel 🏨 to everyone who visits Isla Mujeres !!!

Loved the staff, its nice to see the same employees every year we go.The food is amazing. the rooms are so clean. you can't go wrong with the pool and swim up bar. amazing beach.

The place is small and for the most part very quiet. This was my 5th year and I did notice that now that beds on the beach are $45 per day. People are starting to hoard loungers at the beach with towels. I’m an early riser and was on the beach a couple mornings at 7 and they were already claimed but many times would sit empty until noon if they were used at all. There should be a rule that if you claim it then you need to be using it immediately. I think some of this was going on the night before.

This was our 6th visit to this property and we highly recommend and will be back again!

The grounds are beautiful and the staff was great. Room service was okay. Didn’t always show up or they were extremely late. Food was great and the beach access was fantastic. Overall we had a great stay and it’s in a great location to all the shops and nightlife: would definitely stay again.

The property was beautiful and well cared for. Constant cleaning, sweeping, lawn care and touch ups as needed. The beach area was wonderful too. The beach area was raked and cleaned up every morning. We loved the beach!

To begin with, we had an all-inclusive package. We were traveling with another couple, and they were the main contacts for the stay. At check-in, we were separated into two different buildings. Our friends fought with the concierge to get us in the same building. Which did not happen. The staff always wanted to sell us an "upgrade", just so we could be in the same building! our friends even had emails with staff prior to our arrival, requesting us to be in the same building, but the staff could not find the emails. How convenient? The amenities on site, were adequate and nice! The only other down side, was our room with on the 2nd floor, overlooking the pool towards the ocean, but it smelled of mildew through the air conditioning system. Also, there were small bugs(no-see-ums) on the countertops, and on our first day of arrival, walking into our room, the bedroom smelled nasty! But after a couple days of complaining, and leaving a couple dollars in tips, for the housekeeping, on our pillow, that was fixed. And lastly, the air conditioning system could not seem to keep up with our settings for comfort. We persevered through all that, and still had a great time! The beach was awesome, along with the beach bar and beach restaurant!

It’s a small resort with large resort offerings . U don’t have to walk a long way for anything. Food was good and the drinks were real drinks, not watered down

Great location and one of the best beaches. Not too crowded but room was a little noisy in the morning due to the location. Would go back there!

Just got home. Loved our stay at Privilege Aluxes and would go back. Modern, luxurious, clean and comfortable accommodations. Super-friendly and courteous staff. Outstanding location, just steps to the beach and everything you want to do on El Centro's two main dining/shopping streets: Rueda Medina and Miguel Hidlalgo. Lavish breakfast buffet is included with your room and an all-inclusive option (3 meals, poolside lunch/snack buffet, 24-hour room service, drinks) available as a day-by-day choice for $50 per person. Our only criticisms: (1) Guests stake out most of the pool chairs before breakfast and claim them all day even if they're not at the pool. (2) The pool closes at 8. An extra hour would be nice. (3) The hot tubs were not hot. All things considered, these are not major issues and did not keep us from thoroughly enjoying our stay.

i enjoyed the dinners served on the beach and pool side i would like music on beach and maybe some pool activities

Spa was very nice. Room had a shower bar that would not hold up the shower head--really inconvenient. Front desk check in was not very friendly--woman. Front desk staff--man--helped me to call airline for a change in flights--very helpful!

Great beach, very nice hotel. Wish the hot tubs were hotter.

Mostly great but a few things to note. First, the beach is great but not private. There is still about 50 feet of public beach in front of the property. Second, you book it all inclusive but it's really not. You get there and are told you only get breakfast unless you pay $42 a day to get it truly all inclusive. I felt like it was a bait and switch. Third, unless you get a suite, you're view is the street and/or cemetery. Don't get fooled into believing that a superior room is facing the pool. The cemetery is awesome but it's loud and not relaxing. Positives: This is a pretty small resort and that makes a great difference . You never really feel like a number. Staff is absolutely fantastic and friendly. The suites are amazing and definitely worth the money. You get a bedroom, big bathroom, huge living room and kitchenette and a great patio (with a spa tub which you'll likely never use). Like I said, worth the money for sure. The grounds themselves are beautiful as well. Even without the beach being fully private, there are plenty of cabanas and they staff is there to serve drinks and food on the beach all day long. Bring french fries or something to feed the seagulls by hand on the pier. Even with the negatives, we would definitely stay there again, we were just shell shocked when we got there. Once we decided to go all inclusive and to the suite, it was awesome., We shelled out about $800 more than we planned to but it was awesome and I'm so glad we did.

Nice location, Property was clean, staff was friendly. Food was just okay.
