Small boutique resort. Great service. Very friendly hard working staff...TIP THEM... Room cleanliness was amongst the best I have ever seen in Mexico. This is NOT a party resort with loud banging night club scene and drunks puking in the pool. It is a relaxing laid back experience. The nightly entertainment at the beach is relaxing. Beach area is perfect, clean, large and comfortable. The beach beds are free to use for all guests. Food is great especially at Satay and The Beach Club. Nota tremendous food variety but what is offered is excellent. WiFi is spotty at best. The "gym" needs help.

We have stayed here many times now and will continue to return there. Such a beautiful and comfortable place. Everyone is super helpful and friendly there. Beach is wonderful and the service there is awesome.

Our Superior room was excellent with a large balcony and a great view. Resort is a short walk across a non busy street to the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. Staff is friendly and rooms are kept exceptionally clean, although our included bar was not restocked during our stay.

Great experience at Privilege Aluxes. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. However, the walls are thin which means we heard every door close, other guests conversions, and even the housekeeping were loud in the morning. Food overall was average. Good selection and Satay was absolutely delicious every time. Customer service was good and friendly with security guards anyways on duty so you felt safe. Front desk staff are great but are sales people that make commission for excursions (don't book through hotel) and paid services (photos, currency exchange) so keep in mind they are looking to make money off you. Beach location was amazing. Crystal blue water and white sand just for guests. Great selection of seating, beds, and dining tables with nightly music entertainment (guy with guitar, small band, etc.). However, no other activities offered (kayaks, SUPs, volleyball, etc.). Pool was wonderful! Great bar service, plenty of seating, and clean.

The front desk staff was rude and if you needed something from them they seem to act like it bothered them. Having said that this that the other staff was always pleasant and willing to do whatever you asked ESP when you tipped :).

This was by far the best vacation my husband and I have taken. The room was clean and cool. The view was wonderful. The staff was helpful and accommodating! We had 7 nights all-inclusive. The food was not the best ever, but it was better than many places. They had 24 hour room service and the friendliness of the staff made up for any small imperfections from the room or menu. Loved it!! Making it a yearly occurrence!

The only thing that needs improvement is the front desk needs to speak and understand English.

We received the hotel exactly as promised on your website.

Rooms where smelly and I believe they had bed bugs. We went for an All Inclusive. Totally worth it. Did not find out about the bed bugs until the last day of the trip. We did rent a golf cart to explore the Island and it broke down on the other end of the Island. The golf cart people did not do anything for us, did not give us our money back nor did they give us a free day. I don't recommend renting a cart. The hotel did not help us out either, and they booked it for us.

love the beach and the palapas. the beach service is so special. food was good. Loved our room. Had booked a superior room but was upgraded to an outstanding ocean front suite -spectacular views and room and balcony was spacious. As a cat lover I love the stray cats that roam around - they are so friendly and seek affection - almost heartbreaking. breakfast buffet is perfect. lots of choices. made to order omelettes can't go wrong. double expresso and cappacino highly recommend. also the mimosas! Banos are extra nice can clean too. You need to sign for everything you eat and drink even tough all inclusive. it gets annoying actually but go with the flow. tip well!

Privilege Aluxes is AMAZING! Modern and clean. The staff does a remarkable job of keeping the entire resort in pristine condition. We traveled with another couple and were fortunate to have wonderful weather and no seaweed. The beach is wide with the softest sand and amazing water. The location and the staff are what make this resort a 5. The service you receive while at the beach is incredible and very much appreciated! We ate at all restaurants and the food variety was always great. The beach BBQ on Tuesdays with entertainment also was very nice. If you have a favorite top shelf alcohol just ask and they will get it for you. The pools are beautiful and clean although we spent most of our time at the beach. The resort is very tranquil and peaceful. We liked the fact that it is a family resort but primarily visited by "adults". We have very active grandchildren back home and relished the tranquility. Most of all we thought the staff and the service they provide is simply remarkable! Privilege Aluxes keep up the good work and the GREAT staff of employees. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time. The hotel staff are very friendly. The jacuzzi is great.

Great Food, lunch at the Beach was great and the service very attentive. The Satay restaurant is excellent. Just make sure that you reserve in advance. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The pool had ample amount of chairs and the hotel was sold out I believe.

We spent five nights. Unbeknownst to us, we were upgraded to a fifth floor and got to enjoy a second spacious deck and a private pool with a view of the ocean on two sides. Our other view from the bedroom was of the cemetery which I loved. The room was perfect, roomy and clean with nice amenities. The minibar was always restocked which was nice for lounging in the pool to watch the evening sunset.

This is a beautifully appointed hotel on the beach adjacent to Playa Norte, a few minutes' walk from dozens of restaurants, bars and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful, eager to assist in any way possible. Our suite was spacious and well sound-proofed, in spite of being in close proximity to a bar across the street. The outside deck was fantastic, facing west for amazing sunset views over the water.

Beautiful, clean resort. Close to down town where there are many shops and excellent restaurants. You feel safe out and about at night. Gorgeous beach just steps from the resort. The staff very attentive and helpful. They go out of there way to accommodate you.

Our experience was great, food, drinks and staff were great will definitely be going back.

My husband and I just returned from a 5 day stay at Privileges Aluxes. Upon arrival we received two glasses of Rosato champagne, a welcoming atmosphere and a room with an ocean view room directly on the beach. The room was a superior deluxe suite, more than enough room for two people with a huge deck complete with a love seat, and two lounge chairs. The bed was very comfortable. The only caution I would give is when booking a superior deluxe suite, the description on Orbitz and on the direct website states the room has partial ocean views but upon arrival, we were told that there were no rooms with "partial" ocean views and therefore there was a chance we could get a room on a lower level with no ocean view. Having a balcony and an ocean view was critical to us and after some discussion about this, we did receive a room with the view. We purchased the all inclusive option which we were very happy with. We enjoyed the 24 hour room service for breakfast, and ate on the balcony. Lunch and dinners were spent at the beach club directly on the beach with live music nightly. The food was good with many options to choose from. The beach was absolutely beautiful. Calm waters, chairs and plenty of palapas for everyone, but get there early as many people would go down a reserve chairs with beach towels. We were there on a busy weekend and the hotel was full. We never had trouble getting a table at the restaurants and even though the hotel was booked, it still felt quiet.

What a pleasant surprise. Took a shuttle to the ferry to the beautiful Isla Mujeres. The hotel was beautiful, nice big rooms with a jacuzzi on the balcony. The beach was so relaxing, it was roped off and drinks were served on request. Everyone is super friendly and the food at the Beach Club was delicious. Valentine's Day was really nice. Dinner on the beach, with roses and a band. Everything was decorated so nice. I left my bag at the buffet restaurant and it was returned with everything inside (iPad, money, sunglasses) . It was a wonderful week

More than we expected. Clean, lovely rooms. Great food, Great drinks, reasonable prices. All in all great experience.
