I did not like the staff from from desk and all the vendors they have in this hotel. The lady in the front desk is not polite or well educated to deal with tourist. The vendors they have there they are very aggressive and not good ethical.

I stayed here 10 nites. The check in was very quick and easy. The room was comfortable top floor overlooking the ocean, beach, and restaurant. Great view. The food here was good the bar and drinks very good. The bartenders were great. The staff was always there if u needed them. Fun place people I meet some had stayed there for over a month, and come there for years. Thanks Doug (UT)

When our flight was delayed by fourteen hours, I called Orbitz and asked them to call the hotel to retain our room. I stayed on the phone, and the Orbitz agent confirmed, "not to worry, they are going to retain your room." When we arrived at the hotel, after nearly 25 hours of straight travel, the receptionist told me "the room is gone." They put us in dark, dirty and dank cell room, telling us that our room would be ready in eight hours time. I explained that we had not slept the previous night, were exhausted and dirty. We wanted to unpack, shower, and relax before heading out for the day to enjoy Cancun as we had already missed a large part of our trip due to the airline delays. The manager then, begrudgingly, gave us a room, with a balcony and we were able to enjoy beautiful Cancun for the rest of our stay.

I stayed here on my honeymoon 26 years ago and havent been back to cancun since. Many things have changed for the worse here. Traffic, noise, overdevelopment and a cancun downtown that is worse for the wear. The main hotel zone is just chaotic in places . But the beach areas are some of the best anywhere. Yet this comfortable, somewhat old school hotel is just as I remember it.Laid back with a real mexico feel. If you cannot handle the fact that some of the desk staff are not fluent in english do not go here.Yet they are some of the most helpful and friendly group anywhere. There was a young man who was fluent in english. A smiley, friendly young lady who was just gracious and sweet. No complaints at all in this area. There are others who know a good amount of english and will do their best to help you. The rooms were clean but somewhat older. An excellent roomy shower and many beach views. A small beach that is not that great for swimming but you can walk down as far as you want. It is close to the end of the hotel zone so it is a ways from the main hotel area. But that makes it quieter and buses are cheap and run 24 hours. It was perfect for me and my girlfriend and very affordable. We reccomend.

Clean. Basic needs. Good location makes it easy to move around.

A great little resort for relacking. It was neet and clean a little older but the service more than made up for it .Could not beat the price

The staff was wonderful, the outside area was fantastic and the food was delicious! I got a lot out of my stay without spending a ton of money. It was generally quiet and I'd come back again!

The place is great. It just probably needs a renovation. My room leaked from a storm and proceeded to smell aweful after that. But it really is a lovely, inexpensive place to stay. Perfect for someone who doesn't want to be around the big crowds further into Hotel Zone.

Music blasting all day long and into the night at the bar. So, if your room faces the pool and the bar, enjoy it whether you like it or not. We switched our room after the first sleepless night, hoping to get some peace and quiet, only to be kept up by loud water pipes and lively conversations in the stairway.

Rooms poor,a.c. no temp control, doors not secure, beach not safe, food prep poor,no WiFi ,few tv channels with poor reception

Mexico experienced hotel - not luxurious but what we were looking for

Location is next to the beach but not good for swimming due to dirty water next to the water restaurant. It is not a real beach for swimming. Room is too old and not even provide the coffee maker, dryer and hangers in the closet. No microwave either. Breakfast is average such as pancake and omelet and fruits with coffee and juice. Hotel staff were willing to help but not really speak English. One important thing that you need to know is no elevator for upper floor at all. I have been travelling around the world but this is worst I have seen the hotel without coffee maker, dryer or microwave!!! You don't want to go upstair from tiny stairway with your luggage. It was located right next to the Holidays Inn which I should have been booked there. But if you preferred to get good location at beach for swimming, this is not a place. This is only good for sailing and driving jet skis. Swimming pool is very small and dirty. I got itchy after swimming. Transportation to and from the airport with TAXI should not be exceeded USD25.00 each way which those driver will demand for double on each way that I was asked for. Nothing to do with this Hotel rating but keep in mind to bargain those drivers. Overall, our family was there for sleeping only because beach wasn't our expectation that we don't want to swim next to the dirty area. We spent our time joining the tour somewhere else to enjoy our vacation. Not really worth to stay in this Hotel if you want to swim at the beach.

The hotel is just perfect for a vacation or a stop prior to depart from the airport

Pros cheap and clean. Friendly staff cons too far away from everithyng. No wifi on the rooms. Wifi on the lobby only.

rooms are very clean friendly stuff ,we got great deal when we refuse first deal ,second time we just went with the roll and amazing opportunities came :)

I checked in before checked in time and had to wait for a room so I left the hotel and came back after midnight, it took time to get my key, and when I went up the room was occupied, woke the guest up for staffs mistake. I made reservation for ocean view but it was nothing like that and also they say they have internet but its only in the lobby where dirty couches are. had some trouble with hotel and my friend(my friend to blame on this) and they did kick us out with no refund. Its cheap but not cheap enough, its not worth it. You should get some hotel pay little extra. It didn't feel like it was a vacation at this hotel.
