The location was great! We loved this hotel. It was beautiful, and the pools were great! We will be back!

I loved the view. We didn't need the hot tub on the balcony it was too hot. The pool was clean. Having fresh fruit and juice in our room was nice. We had hot water the first day but after that it was not hot. That was the only frustrating thing. It is a nice quiet hotel. A quick walk into the business or Norte beach.

Good water pressure nice room good staff. Pool could be cleaner

Lovely hotel by the beach. Very relaxed, quiet and with friendly and helpful staff. I would specifically like to thank Fausto, a member of the hotel staff, for being so attentive and helpful when trying to book several activities. Muchísimas gracias, Fausto!

Cozy hotel right on the beach; the staff were great and its ideally located on the north end of Isla Mujeres where everything is in walking distance. The hotel is down a quiet road and their beach faces east - turtles come right up on the beach to lay their eggs. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place with amazing views. Quiet and peaceful and right on the beach. You can't swim off the beach were this is located due to strong tides and rocky area but just around the corner less than a min walk is the clearest most perfect white sand beach you can imagine. It was truly awesome!

Amazing views are the best quiet area away from hussle and bustle

The continental breakfast could use some improvement. Not clearly specified where to get the cups from etc. The yogurt was put just in a bowl with no ice so it was warm when I served it. For the price of the hotel it could really be better.

i loved this hotel with my room right on the sand was like a seeam with thecwaves crashing on the beach. what a sleep i had .i will b back next year

This is a little hide away off the beaten path. So you just have to overlook the trash lined street leading to the hotel. When I asked the front desk attendant if this was the "Luna" he pointed to the sign and said "There is the sign". I pointed out that part of the sign was blocked by a big plant. Not the most welcoming reception. There were no towels in the room so I went back to the front desk to ask for some. I was told there would be a $100 deposit for a beach towel as well as for the safe key and that there were other towels in the room. I said I looked all over and that there were no towels. He became frustrated and told me that there WERE towels and then decided to escort me to my room to show me. Along the way he talked to the cleaning lady. She hadn't put towels in the room. I was told the towels would be brought later - No sorry or anything, There was no ice and was told by another guest that you have to ask the front desk to get some. I went to the pool which was half full due to a leak. Maintenance was lacking as well. Rust stains from nails on the walls - need painting. Thatched coverings over the windows and roof need to be replaced - trash around the pool area. I needed to check out at 8:00am and asked if I could get an earlier breakfast (included in the room).. I was told "no" - breakfast was at 8:00 only. Only coffee could be had before 8:00. Great view of ocean. But one day was enough. Need to work on attitude, client service and maint.

Loved the view and proximity to beaches and restaurants!

Great get away very private! I highly recommend. I would stay again! Made s wet friends there !

Quaint hotel on a quiet corner of the island (but still good location). Beautiful views. The mattress was probably due to be replaced and the breakfast was a bit paltry, but still a great value for the price. Staff were very nice.

My husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary on Isla. We were pleasantly surprised by Playa La Media Luna. The resort is tucked away in a quiet area and was clean, cozy, and had amazing views from the pool area. The location is great, walking distance from North Beach and all the shops and restaurants in the downtown area. The staff was nice, our room was large, updated, and spacious. There is not a bar, however the bartender from Hotel Secreto will come over and check on you by the pool. You can order drinks and snacks from him. Very nice man. Overall, we had an amazing time on Isla and we were impressed with the accomodations.

This hotel is gorgeous & set off by itself with a private pool that views your private ocean front. It is a little rocky to go in the ocean at this spot, but the view & privacy can not be beat!

Hotel was clean and comfortable and my room had a door that led to the pool. Very nice location. Easy to get to around.

This hotel is clean, but it needs to be updated dramatically. The beds and bedding look to be about 15 years old and the rooms are slightly better than those I have stayed at in a hostel. The outdoor pool area was very pretty and honestly if they remodeled, this could be a great place. But, I would only rank it a 2 right now. It was simply a bed to sleep in, it did the job, but nothing more. I honestly would pay a little more and stay at a nicer place next time.

IT WAS GREAT...... BUT ONE THING THEY SHOULD HAVE A RESTAURANT AND THE BREAKFAST SHOULD AT LEAST HAVE SOME SCRAMBLE EGGS, NATURAL ORANGE JUICE, IS AN ISLAND.... THEY SHOULD HAVE A LOT OF GREAT JUICY FRUITS... BUT ASIDE FROM THAT... AMAZING.... MY GOD THE VIEW THE POOL, THE BEACH... WOW I WILL GO AGAIN FOR SURE.. =)

This 18 room hotel was perfect for our 6 room family vacation. Comfy beds, beautiful views from our terraces and balconies. A pool right out the door, views of crashing waves, sand beach, rocks... Very convenient to a variety of excellent restaurants and shops. We wished there was a food outlet onsite, and we wished the snorkeling was right outside our door, but this is a wonderful island to visit. Great snorkeling is an interesting cab ride away. The island feels safe, the folks are friendly, not pushy. It is unique in our Mexico visits. No cruise ships! We loved the place and the hotel. We would definitely return.
