The house is great (amazing space), and the communication from the owners/management was very helpful. The rooftop and pools were awesome and so much fun for everyone to hang out. Location is convenient to both drive or walk to restaurants, and for us it was particularly good as it was on the quieter part of the island. The only critique that could be applied is that there may be an issue for guests with the water pressure, particularly when showering. The house has an abundance of nicely designed showers, so it was a shame when the water pressure was not up to the expectations set by the rest of the house in our opinion. As guests, we were able to live with it, but it may be an issue for others.

This house was amazing!! There were 4 couples & we stayed for 6 nights. The house has so much space we never felt like we were on top of each other. The kitchen has everything you can think of. The pools are beautiful. We were there in August & are happy we paid to have the lower pool cooled. Almost every night we were in the rooftop pool overlooking the ocean. The sunsets were beautiful. The house has everything. Communication with the house owner & property manager are also 5 stars! No questions went unanswered. Highly recommend this house!

The house is amazing! Exactly as pictured. Both pools were great! The owner gave very detailed information on everything we needed. The owner provided information for the shuttle, the ferry, the golf cart rental and everything went smoothly. Any questions were answered quickly by the property manager. He worked with us on dropping our bags at the house since we arrived before check in. Highly recommend this house, I would stay here again!

This home is well-equipped and well located. We enjoyed the quieter south end of the island, taking advantage of the smoothie and coffee carts and bars/restaurants within walking distance. The pools were amazing, and we loved the easy beach access! The view is incredible! We were given contact information for a local person who was able to provide direct access to taxis, assistance obtaining snorkel gear, and helped ease our transition. Only downside was the AC units located above the master suite upstairs, which were a little loud at night.

Amazing home!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Agave! We had 4 adults and 5 emerging adults. The house was perfect and a great spot to unwind after touring the island and mainland. It was just as it looks online and the process was so smooth and hosts are very responsive, as was the contact for check in etc. wonderful location and hope we get back some day!

Great senior trip!

Overall, this was an amazing trip. At first, I was a little concerned with the area. The house is amazing, but the place on the island was a little scary at first. I assume this is just for protection, but there were a ton of locks on every door of the house. Snorkeling at the beach just behind the hotel was simply breathtaking! Please rent a golf cart! There are so many things to see!!! The owners were really great at being responsive. I cant recommend this house enough!

Absolute Paradise for Our Girls' Trip!

Our week at Casa Agave was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, spacious, and well-equipped the property was, it truly had everything we needed. The location made us feel safe and secure, and having easy parking was a huge plus.But the real highlight? The private little beach just steps from the villa! Waking up to our own slice of paradise, where we could stroll down anytime for swims, or sunset cocktails, was worth every penny. It felt exclusive yet effortlessly accessible—like our personal getaway within a getaway.For anyone planning a group trip (especially girls’ trips!), this villa is a dream. We’re already talking about coming back. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Fabulous Family Vacation Villa

Casa Agave was amazing! We loved everything about it! We loved how well decorated and comfortable the villa was. The pool area is awesome and our family of 10 certainly spent most of our time around it. The kitchen is so well laid out and so well appointed and organized. We played so many games and ate many meals around the beautiful table. The third level with the palapa hut and infinity pool offered us a beautiful place for happy hour and sunsets while our 4 little ones swam. The 4 bedroom/bath suites were so comfortable and accommodated all of us perfectly. Michelle...(the host) has an eye for design and is very detailed which shows in this beautiful villa. She is well organized, was always quick to respond, and was so easy to work with. She answered questions and gave suggestions. She recommended golf cart companies, beach clubs for kids, catering services and more. Her Casa Agave Villa Book was like none other I had ever seen...(and we travel a lot and have been in many rental properties)The loved the location of Casa Agave. We loved being on the southern end of the island. It is quieter than the north end. We could walk to many restaurants ...The Joint, Rancho, La Joya, Kin Ha (We loved and supported the little coffee truck across the street with daily runs for lattes). All in all Casa Agave is perfect and gets a 10 star rating. I would highly recommend it for any large groups who want a place to gather and create lasting memories. Thank you.

Exceeded our expectations

Wow, Casa Agave was incredible. My group included 4 couples and this place had plenty of space for everyone. We joked that we needed walkie talkies to figure out where everyone was located- either downstairs by the pool, lounging in the living room, back deck, upper deck, or in one of the 4 amazing bedrooms. The house was clean with so many thoughtful details we continuously noticed and appreciated during our stay. The house temperature was comfortable, the bath and beach towels were plush, we loved having the lower pool heated, plenty of purified water stations, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with any utensil or tool you’d need, plenty of plastic cups to bring drinks to the pool, we loved that the doors automatically locked behind us, Bluetooth speakers easy to connect to, and I could go on and on. We arranged for Javi’s Cantina to prepare dinner for us one night and that was delicious- one of our favorite meals on the island. Sunrises and sunsets from the rooftop were amazing. Two of the couples in our party have been to the island several times, staying at a different place each time, and Casa Agave was without a doubt one of our favorites. Thank you to Jan for teaching us about the house at check-in, Michele for all the details before and during our stay, and Isaac for being available to answer any questions we had- although most answers can be found in the binder in the house. All in all, an amazing trip!

This is my third time staying at casa agave in the last few years and it's the most magical place. If you want to be wowed with beauty an luxury, come here. It's on the Punta Sur end of the island which is the quieter side which I prefer. You still have plenty of restaurants/ bars / beach clubs to walk to. The house is so big and beautiful and perfect. Each room has its own luxury bathroom and then there is a bathroom by the pool and one by the kitchen, loved having all those options. Each level of the house is more beautiful then the next - the top level has an infinity pool looking over the. most turquoise waters. Plenty of areas to gather and eat with big groups. We were kinda loud 2 of the nights, sorry!

Casa Agave

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Agave in early January. Having the pool heated was a must! The house is very clean and is well equipped. The communication went pretty well with the concierge, house manager, and host. We needed extra bed blankets which were eventually delivered to the home. The island was experiencing a water shortage during our stay so the laundry closet was locked during our visit-keep that in mind as you pack. The location was great. It was quiet but close to at least 4 good restaurants & the coffee bus that we walked to. Great views from the rooftop pool area. Coffee and sugar provided. Definitely recommend this place!

Birthday Trip at Casa Agave

Stayed at Casa Agave in August for my 50th birthday. The owners and the concierge service were very helpful. They provided many recommendations for everything from transportation to and from the airport, golf cart rental companies, excursions and great restaurants and bars to try. Once we arrived, we were very happy with the house. It was very nicely decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with every kind of pot, pan, glass, and other kitchen gadgets. They even had a full supply of condiments and various spices for cooking. There was three adult couples and one single adult staying at the house and each couple had their own bedroom with its own bathroom. The pictures online were spot on! We spent lots of time during the day at the downstairs pool, and the bathroom outside was very convenient. In the evening we enjoyed the pool on the top level. There was plenty of seating and it had some great views. The house is conveniently located with many restaurants and bars nearby…even a couple of day clubs if you wanted to spend the day at the beach. All in all, we had a great time and I would definitely recommend this house to anyone headed to Isla!

Casa agave is a beautifully home, but listing a bit misleading

Beautiful home, spacious, quiet, love all the wood and decorations, hand painted murals. Very comfortable. Great location. Even had a temporary cat we enjoyed. However, the weather in Isla is oppressively hot and humid this time of year. The pools are great but they were as warm as a bathtub- 93 degrees F. Neither the concierge or the house manager knew how to remedy this. In talking with the owners we were told for an EXTRA $75/DAY, the water could be cooled. It took 36 hours for the temperature to be refreshing at 85-89 degrees. Listing did not mention this issue nor the extra cost. Pool needs some renovation as tiles are falling off. Views were Amazing and our family of 9 ranging in ages 3-69 truly enjoyed the house. Close to restaurants. Eating in Isla Mujeres is actually quite expensive and many only took cash so you’ll need a lot of pesos. Unfortunately the island is littered and many homes are in disrepair. There were some foul odors from much trash. We enjoyed snorkeling and swimming with whale sharks. Driving the golf cart is an adventure. Prisma golf carts is close to The ferry and recommended by the owners The carts did not break down (YAY) but were is poor physical condition, many cracks, seat broken, with exhaust coming into the second seat. We had a rope tethered to the back to keep our luggage in place. Jan Carlos was the star and very helpful. The house manager was a ghost.

Absolutely Beautiful!

Everything about the home was beautiful and clean! Beds super comfortable! View just stunning. Centrally located on the island. Pools incredible! So sad we had to leave after a couple of days due to hurricane. If I ever go back, I’ll go when this fabulous home is available.

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Agave. It was perfect setup for our group of 7 (3 couples + single). It's a beautiful house with numerous great spaces and we used them all. The rooftop pool and palapa area was a favorite for morning coffee and evening drinks, as was the lower pool and swim-up bar where we played cards in the non-stop rain. The location was great for us, being out of the noise of the north end, but within easy walk to 3 great restaurants/bars as well as a coffee truck. Well-equipped and very comfortable. Owners and management team were professional and responsive and the check-in/check-out process was easy. Would definitely stay here again.
