Great location. Rooms clean and fresh. Nothing to complain about. Check in was easy. It was a nice central location to get to see anything you wanted to do In Canberra. Only complaint was the windy weather, but Quest can't control that!!
Would have been a pleasant visit except for the noise from the service lane, the elevator, the glass bottles and drunkards at 11pm and the dump truck, delivery van and petrol leaf blower at 4am. Ruined a shirt whilst ironing because of a crappy old iron that they knew about. Hated every hour there. Recommend the Mercure.
We booked a two room and one room apartment and they were both fabulous. Beautiful old building with new, large modern rooms. Everything you’d expect plus a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Very helpful staff and located right in town. Can’t wait to come back.
Great location, very close to shopping and food. The rooms were of a good size, were clean and modern. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Canberra.
I was there on a short stay for a conference. The Quest is in a good location, with easy access to lots of eateries and bars, and a short walk to central Canberra. Staff were friendly, but not intrusive. Good size apartments with standard amenities.
The position in the centre of Canberra is excellent, close to restaurants and coffee shops. The downside, and it is a big one, is that the noise level at night from them is huge and getting a good night sleep is difficult. The rooms are large but let down by having the bathroom right next door to the bed. It was not cheap and charging an extra $20 for car parking doesn’t help. The staff are efficient and friendly but if you want a good nights sleep make sure you ask for a room away from the street noise.
Firs impressions took me back ,entering from rear lane was smelly from skips ,and the lobby was dingy. Our apartment was well laid out but carpet very grimy ,seriously Quest you have a great location so spend some money an give the place an update
Really noisy, thumping music, trucks and drunks yelling in the building and laneway next door. Don't use room 12 whatever you do. Surely it must be the worst room if you want to sleep after a long day.
Great location, but very noisy overnight. Constant drunken noise from the pub close by and the laneway. Which is a shame, as it’s a very handy place to stay whilst seeing a show in Canberra. Might choose somewhere quieter next time 🙁
Central CBD location but beyond this, Quest Canberra has nothing going for it. Tired fit-out & complacent, rude staff. Rooms poorly maintained - fittings falling off wall, no water pressure, temperature control on faucets were broken. Bring your own everything! They provided a tiny piece of soap and the worst instant coffee you could possibly imagine. No in-house dining service and nearby cafes & restaurants are closed on weekends.
