Very comfortable; walking distance to University and downtown

Only stayed one night, but the PGH had all the extras and was very central. The only thing lacking was parking.

A totally clear glass wall in a bathroom situated on the direct line between door and toilet is not a smart idea. On my first night in the gloom of dawn I went to the toilet and walked into the glass wall which was impossible to see and had no safety markings on it at all. 3 days later my head is still sore. The hotel staff seemed vaguely concerned but I do not believe that no one else has had this same experience as was suggested. They left me a note and a free voucher for breakfast which was good but was unimpressed by restaurant staff who said no raw or brown sugar for coffee like there is no option. I had to stand my ground for her to go into the kitchen to find some.

We (couple) stayed for 3 nights and paid $610 (breakfast not included). The first room was extremely small and management moved us to a slightly bigger room. Very modern and spotless. Quiet and comfortable. Bathroom excellent but dark and needs much better lighting. Internal corridor walls painted mustard(!) with poor lighting giving first, but wrong, impression of a dingy hotel as rooms are the opposite. Staff very friendly and professional. Compared with a similar hotel in Sydney cbd it is too expensive. (The hotel has a bistro and food very good but all the wait staff hopeless, being quite the opposite of the hotel staff.)

Showers are awesome, but the hot water system can't keep up, and water oscillates from hot to cold. There is no wifi Internet in the rooms, just expensive wired Internet. It's free in the lobby though by wireless. Didn't try the food nut it looked good. Parking outside is hard to get, but there is a $15 per day hotel parking.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff, good location. My only issues are the following: 1. Only one small computer was provided for Internet use and it was very, very slow. 2. No breakfast was included. I had a small bowl of cereal with milk, a piece of toast, and coffee for $15. 3. The shower leaked every-time I took a shower. The design is faulty.

easy checkin, friendly efficient staff. Well located close to city centre
