We visited Floriade and decided to stay overnight. We wanted something close that had easy access to dining and the shops and found the one bedroom apartment was spot on. Very comfy and modern and hard to fault. Great kitchen and very comfortable couch and supportive bed. They have been recently renovated as well. The only very minor thing they could improve is adding larger ID names to the shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers so older eyes can see which is which. Make sue your drop into the Kingston Hotel for dinner (not your run of the mill hotel). It is just across the road and makes the whole experience one of the best you could have.
The Manuka experience was very enjoyable. This was the 4th time since 1987 and was selected by the family as we remembered the previous stays which were very comfortable with its location between Kingston and Manuka shopping precincts and other ACT places of interest (Floriade, War Memorial and Mint etc). The staff were very accommodating in providing an apartment that was ready for occupancy (the one set aside for us was still being serviced when we arrived at 1300 hours. Swimming pool very welcome on the more than warm day. We will always use this site on accommodation availability basis.
Very convenient to cafes and shops at Manuka, just across the road and the amazing Muse Restaurant/bookshop. Apartments were comfortable and had everything we needed for a long weekend with good security parking. Only disappointment were the stairs, I had to ask for help to get my suitcase to the room as no lift. Also no cleaning over the whole long weekend.
This is the second time we have stayed in these excellent apartments. They are very central to all of the places of interest that we wanted to visit and have convenient access to the Kingston pub or other food outlets for meals or a supermarket if you wish to eat in. The car was in secure under cover parking which was easy to access. We thoroughly loved our time staying here.
I stayed up here with parents and it was a perfect 2 bedroom apartment for the footy. Although our team lost we will stay again next time in Canberra. Plenty of tea and coffee and good kitchen for cooking.
Loved this one bedroom apartment. Kitchen was well equipped. Quite a spacey apartment. Nice modern bathroom. Will definitely stay here again. Great location to restaurants and shops or a short drive to various tourist attractions
Staff are friendly and extremely helpful, units are modernised and clean, location is as central as you can get. Loved being opposite the Manuka Oval during an AFL match, something super exciting about hearing a crowd cheer and it's literally a stone's throw away. Close to Kingo and Eastlakes pubs for dinners and drinks. Staff are accommodating and kind, including the groundskeeper who is lovely. Oh and the free Wifi was a necessity and it was of good speed and quality. Kitchens and bathrooms are modern and white which is lovely and shows how clean they are. Housekeeping service was a lovely touch and I will miss having to make my own beds from now on. Considering we were there to attend a funeral and had a lot of stressful times, Manuka Park managed to make our family's stay in Canberra as pleasant as one could hope for, given the sad circumstances. Highly recommended to others and will definitely stay there again when we next visit Canberra. Thank you :)
We stayed here so it was an easy walk to Manuka Oval for the football. Our 2 bedroom unit was well set up and the management had kindly put the heating on in our room for our arrival on a cold night. The one improvement I would make is to instal a second door towards the bathroom.
I had a horrible stay here due to some renovations going on. There was a constant noise over night in the unit that was being renovated, and the tradie worked through on the other night I was there too. So in terms of rest and sleep on my ONLY holiday of the year was very disappointing. The reception staff who welcomed me got a few things wrong. eg. where the unit was, and explaining a few things to me. Then she was a quite abrupt when I complained about the noise (after waiting the time advised it would be finished). I was told at checkout that this is the first of many renovations, so I would recommend you call to check first. I was just unlucky, but how they managed it was just disappointing. However, I have given this place a good review, because without the disappointing communication from the management about the renovations, and the noise on both nights, which had me stressed out with a young child, I can see why this is a good place. I can see that it is very convenient to Manuka and well place. It is quite clean and has a well stocked kitchen. Only thing is, if you plan to use the oven, bring or buy some oven mits. The hand towel won't be enough unless you have thick skin! Free WI-FI in all rooms was very impressive and was reasonable speed for basic stuff. I would stay again, but would hope that I would get a discount next time due to my very disappointing stay this first time.
My wife and I stayed here for a couple of weeks in June and found it to be an excellent place to stay. All the necessary items for living are provided for you and the staff are courteous a professional. Protected underground parking, weekly room service, and walking distance to stores, restaurants, and even downtown (if you want to walk for about an hour! :) ) If I had anything critical, it would be that the apartment seems drafty and the heater doesn't really seem to take the chill out. The bathroom window is permanently open a little bit to allow the dryer to vent moisture and this makes the bathroom even colder. Outside of that, would highly recommend Manuka Park to folks wanting more than a cramped hotel room for their stay in Canberra.
