I have stayed here a few times now when I travel for work. The staff are excellent, rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is fantastic. This was the first time I had tried room service rather than eating in the restaurant/bar but it was really good. I had the Singapore Noodles (which were nice and spicy!) and a cheesecake dessert. Can definitely recommend this hotel.

We had booked a room for two adults and two teenagers. The room was reasonably appointed. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom is looking a little tired. The blinds are great in keeping the rising sun out of your room if you like that. If we had of being staying for more than one night I would have thought the room was a bit squashed. There was hardly a mini bar, maybe a hotel requirement these days. The check in process was a little harder than I thought it should have been. We wanted to park our car on site. This is $21 a night which is ok, but the explanation of its location and how to get in and out was a little difficult. We didn’t dine at the restaurant but used the bar in the evening. That was great. We thought the gym area had lots of equipment but the pool was in need of the leaves being removed. Possibly difficult at this time of year. The hotel is in a good location to the shops, restaurants and we walked to the war memorial. It was a nice walk.

This was my first night staying at the Crowne Plaza in Canberra and I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located in the city next door to the Casino so is very conveniently placed. The check in process was seamless and staff were friendly. The room itself had two double beds and was nicely decorated. The bed was super comfortable! Had a good minibar, TV and wifi. Rooms were quiet and blockout blinds worked well. The negative for this hotel is the bathrooms. They are really old and not renovated at all. The shower is not adjustable and very noisy. It is a good hotel but I still prefer the QT or Hotel Hotel when staying in Canberra.

We had an overnight stay last weekend. The room was generous and well equipped. Nice view of the sunrise in the morning from our bed. Staff were lovely and helpful. Shower was nice. Finishing touches were great.

I arrived frazzled after a long journey from London. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was large, comfortable with all the amenities I needed. The shower was great as were the tea and coffee facilities. I was surprised to find that there was a charge for bottled water in the room. Breakfast was excellent, with a good number of well trained and personable staff. Good level of choices set me up for each day. The hotel bar was ok, although the beer selection wasn't great and, as with most hotel bars, it was on the expensive side. Again the bar staff were very polite, very professional. A very good centrally located hotel

My friend and I really enjoyed our Ladies Night Out at the Crown Plaza. Parking was easy and reasonably priced. It was easy to book online and be assured of two beds. The view was lovely, the beds and pillows comfortable. The internet was free. We had a late light meal in the cocktail lounge and added the paid but discounted breakfast option. Whole no bargain, the breakfast was extensive, including a Full English and an omelet bar.

Well situated, rooms very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is delicious, excellent choice and very fresh food. Price of evening meals on the expensive side. Excellent for visiting all tourist sites

Stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms had all the basics and necessities - tea, coffee, shower cap, toiletries etc. The beds were comfortable and airconditioning was available. The breakfast was not included in the price of the stay but was nice. It was $29 pp for the breakfast buffet. The buffet had cereals, juices (apple, orange, pineapple), pastries and muffins, fruits, toast, bacon, mushrooms, baked beans etc, and also a station where the chef cooks the eggs to your liking (fried, poached, omlette). The location was great, a short walk to the canberra centre, where there are alot of restaurants and shops, also next door to the casino and the convention centre. Parking was expensive at $21 a day, not far was the convention centre parking and a big sign stating $6 a day for weekend rate (per exit), worth looking into these prices. Complimentary wi fi was included, there is also an outdoor pool on ground level which is connected to the gym, it is surrounded by trees, so in the afternoon there is not alot of sun. Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is great, the rooms are nice and the facilities are good. We didn’t particularly rate the food, but the after 11pm menu is quite simple and we didn’t like the choices, the food was pretty bland. The staff, with the exception of the concierge, were helpful and polite - however the hotel made a significant administrative mistake that ruined the fee of our trip; but to their credit they did everything they could to put it right.

Second time stayed here and overlooking the park. Bathrooms are a bit dated (shower over bath) and old fittings however bed is super comfortable and the park view is very nice. Breakfast is a bit chaotic on Sunday (perhaps have a separate seating for couples without screaming kids). The only complaint was the chronic low pressure for hot and cold water in the vanity basin, could not rinse your hands.
