The fridge did not keep food cold; I could not get the bedroom tv to function; There was no bedside lighting in main bedroom; The Bathroom floor had hair stuck between the bath and benchtop cabinet; Kitchen was well kitted but crockery and cutlery was far from clean.

In the heart of Canberra

Spacious apartment with a good carpark. Great location, you can walk anywhere in the city from the apartment. The apartment has a petrol station opposite and McDonalds underneath. But due to the double glazed windows it was not noisy.

Nice Apartment in Good Location but Host Needs to Do Better

We stayed at the apartment for 4 nights. It is in a good location, close to public transport and with many great restaurants within easy walk - a bit noisy at night but that is to be expected near the entertainment precinct. The apartment is comfortable but in need of some attention with dirty curtains falling down in a few places. The cleanliness was substandard - hand basin in the toilet not cleaned at all, toothpaste caked around the basin spout, dirty hand prints on cupboards and drawer handles, smear all over the glass dining table you could write in!, drier lint filter not cleaned (and a stray sock inside). But the biggest shortcoming was the provision of towels etc. We had 2 towels, a bath mat, a tea towel and nothing else. No hand towels, facecloths, dish cloth (there was only a dishwashing brush so how were we meant to wipe down benches?). We contacted the manager who responded quickly and brought around some from her own personal supplies - clean but pretty ordinary, apologizing that the cleaner had not done his job properly. There was also very limited coffee capsules and no tea provided. The next morning, we found that there was no plug to fit the kitchen sink and that the handle was broken off the toilet brush. We again notified the manager but got no response. So overall, it was “okay” but could be great with a bit more attention to detail.
