Eşimle bir gece konaklama yaptık. Otel gayet temiz ve içi yeniydi. Otel sahibi beyefendi hem girişte hem de çıkışta bize çok yardımcı oldu. Bir daha gelirsem tekrar konaklamayı isteyeceğim bir otel, ve çarşıya çok yakın. Yakın olmasına rağmen sessiz bir sokaktı. Kahvaltısı için yönlendirilen restoran zengin bir serpme kahvaltıya sahip. Mükemmeldi. Fuat Bey’in güler yüzlü,samimi gülümsemesi ile karşılandık. Mis gibi sabun kokan, merkezde, tüm güzel mekanlara yürüme mesafesinde, sessiz, sakin, temiz ve uygun bir oteldi. Ada sartlarindaki merkezdeki otel sayisi ve yatak kapasitesi belirli bir sayida oldugu icin her alan degerlendirilmeye calisiliyor. Oda seciminde 1 gece sadece yatmak amacli kullanima yonelik tercih ettigimiz icin ekonomik olan bodrum kati tercih ettik fakat hem odanin asiri kucuklugu ve adadaki yogunluk nedeni ile yetersiz olan altyapi nedeni ile kanalizasyon sisteminin iyi calismamasi nedeni ile olusan koku konaklamamizda memnuniyetsizlige yol acti. Oda ve otel gayet temiZdi kahvalti icin iskelye yakin bir isletme ile anlasmislar ve kahvalti secenegi bizim icin yeterliydi. Otelin lokasyonu gayet merkezi fakat bizim gibi zemin katta kalirsaniz hareketlilikten rahatsiz olabilirsiniz. Diger odalari gormesemde merkezi olmasi ve otelin genel temizligi dikkate alindiginda kalinabilir.

Hotel Katina

Rum mahallesinde, konumu ve sakinliğiyle çekici bir otel diyebilirim. Harika bir sokakta yer alması benim için ilk kriterdi. Kahvaltısı özenli ve güzeldi. Beni hayal kırıklığına uğratan şeyin başında ise banyodaki temizlik ve özensizlik oldu. Lavabo ve duş teknesi süzgeçleri paslanmış ve temiz değildi. Banyo dolabı sanırım lavabo gider sorunu yüzünden küflenmişti ve dolayısıyla banyo küf kokuyordu. Eylül ortasından sonra gittiğimiz için hava soğuktu biraz, o sebeple dolapta açıkta duran yorgana gözüm kaydı maalesef temiz değildi ve nevresim yoktu. Ayrıca duvarların inceliği dolayısıyla odalar arası gürültüyü işitebiliyorsunuz. Kaldığım oda biraz özensiz bırakılmış gibiydi. Oysa ki lokasyon ve kahvaltısıyla çok daha iyi bir yorumu hakedecek bir düzeyde olabilirdi.

Otel, Bozcaada'nın en güzel sokaklarından birinde yer alıyor. Önünde incir ağacı ve sarmaşıklar altında şirin bir kafesi var. Kahvaltılar bu kafenin önünde yapılıyor. Kafede Ece hanım her gün değişik lezzetler ikram ediyor. Odalar yeterli büyüklükte ve temiz. Bütün ihtiyaçlarınız düşünülmüş, ev rahatlığında. Taner bey, adaya geldiğimizde limana kadar bizi karşılamaya geldi. Her isteğimizle gönülden ilgilendi. Bir abi gibi bizi ağırladı. Hotel Katina adadaki evimiz oldu.
