This hotel needs several upgrades...the hotel is very dated & the beds are extremely old and in bad shape & very uncomfortable. I've stayed 2 seperate times since August 2025, the first time I waited over 30 mins for my room to be ready and it was approx 5pm when I arrived & there was no towels in the room. The second time there was no shower curtain, the remote didn't work and the staff were unsure what to do as they stated that every room had a different TV.

We stayed for 3 nights, and when we first checked in there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom and no cups for water or coffee. The fridge didn't work, and when we mentioned it to front desk we were given instructions on how to fix it ourselves imcluding moving the unit....surely a staff member should be doing that? No room cleaning available as we were told we were one of only two guests that weekend so they didn't schedule staff. Eventually got some housekeeping on 3rd day of stay after bringing issue to front desk. Overall a very very poor experience for the $550 we paid for 3 nights. This is a badly run facility and I dont recommend anyone else to stay here.

Disgraceful!

I was on a business trip, I stayed 12 nights and my room wasn’t cleaned once! No fresh towels no change of bedding throughout the stay, very disappointed! I won’t return and wouldn’t recommend to anyone

We arrived around 7pm. After waiting 10min for someone to arrive at the reception area we went to our room then we had to go to the reception to ask for soap and some glasses not available in the room. We found 2 hairs in our beds. I was too tired to complain. I won’t come back. Also Dalhousie is very dirty and not a good place to stay. Even the Tim Horton in there was terrible.

There was a problem with the expedia application. I made a reservation for 2 rooms (4 adults). Tough the application confirmed the réservation, once in site, only 1 of the 2 rooms was confirmed. The staff went above and behond to accomodate us and they deserve a 5 star review. However, I am not so satisfied with the Expedia application. After investigation from the Days Inn staff, it seems that the Expedia application was faulty. So, max 2 stars for them.
