Five star Maine hotel

A beautiful location right across the bay/river from Belfast. The room was super clean and the beds were amazing. The gym and hot tub were is great condition and easy to access. The location was an easy drive everywhere.

Staff was excellent! I was two hours late in checking out of the hotel and they were more than understanding and extremely accommodating! Otherwise, check-in went smoothly and rooms are as indicated. Only issue was that I found the pool and the hot tub to be a bit smelly.

I have stayed at the Fireside multiple times and I am never disappointed. The rooms are updated and clean. Having a private balcony that showcases the gorgeous view is my favorite feature, and it’s what keeps me coming back. The location is convenient to Belfast and other towns, but removed enough to feel peaceful. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. This place is truly a gem!

The view! We were on ground level and you walk out your back door to brautiful views, seating areas, outdoor games, pool areaw/hottub, and trail to oceanfront. Would stay here again.

This place has lots of potential but needs a little more management love. The toilet had stains, and the room smelled of cigarettes. It’s an excellent location with a lovely lawn and an ocean view; it could potentially elévate a bit. Staff need better training and knowledge of the area, but they were sweet.

Hotel was clean but a little dated. Very nice view and amenities on the property. Nearby was kind of run down and not much to do. The ADK chairs and the view made morning coffee nice. Bring your own breakfast - none provided. Do try Chase’s Daily in Belfast - amazing food and ice cream. Also be sure to make the drive to the Lost Kitchen - just 30 minute drive in the country!
