Great location. Easy accessibility to highway and eating places.

The cottage was as well appointed as a home as well as being very clean. The view of Penobscot Bay from the covered porch and deck is spectacular .

Oceanfront was nice. Fire pit and seating area available. The check in was smooth.

The beach the fact that pets are allowed and the coziness of the cottages make this place unique

The property is located between the US1 and the ocean, it is motel With rooms and Cabañas of different sizes, you can enjoy the ocean, do bbq in several tables around the property, make a bonfire in the area for it. Exercise your self running around even fishing if you have a license

Spacious accommodation right along the water, which rolls up to welcome you at the shoreline. Would very much recommend this place to others.

Great location and great cabins. Spacious, clean, with many things to do. Our cabin was great, however the shower is in need of help, a lot. Great value and we always come back!

Loved the little cabin. Great great view. Cute and roomy cabin with everything you need. Can lay in bed and watch the sail boats or sit on roomy porch and watch the ocean. Will be on our list of placed we'd like to return to. Booked one night and they were gracious enough to let us extend to 3 nights. We will be back!

great little cottage with an amazing view of the ocean.

Colonial Gables has being improving his conditions since Mr. Ed. Is in the property, play ground for kids, more bbq places, better a/c units, new floors. The house keeping is on time. Nice lobster pound near by and in a radio of 30 miles many nice places to visit

The room is a little dated but I loved the large screen tv and the back porch to relax on

Like new condition, fast internet, quiet and a fantastic view. Doesn’t get any better!

Convenient location. Nice room with balcony overlooking ocean.

Views were fine, and water pressure and temp were fine too, especially for showers. From there, however, the experience went down hill. For a start, the fixtures in the aforesaid shower were loose, and moved as soon as you touched them; they were attached to the pipes, but not to the cheap plastic tub liner. This was billed as a Delux one-bedroom cottage with kitchen, and two queen beds. There WERE two queen beds, but in a room designed for double beds at best, with barely any room to walk, no room for suitcases, and one set of three drawers to store clothes. The closet was barely accessible because the room was so crowded. The kitchen sink was a wet-bar sink, barely big enough to put a plate in to wash it. Studio cottages had a full sized sink, but not the "Delux" cottage. Finally, all of the wood trim in the cottage - window and door frames, baseboard, etc., was unfinished 1x4 pine. Not even a coat of varnish. And the site had apparently skimped on wattage for the light bulbs. Even with everything turned on, you could barely read a book in the living room. And be careful about the reservations; our delux 1 bedroom was smaller than other one-bedrooms some in our party got, with enclosed and furnished porches and two bathrooms. Unless you'd been to the property and picked out exactly the cottage you want, you won't get what you expected; And for $700 for three nights, WITH an AARP discount, it just wasn't worth it and I'll look elsewhere if I go again.

Cute little cabin, right on the water. Comfortable, clean and close to Belfast where there's good food and drink to be found. We stopped in on the way to Acadia and it was very pleasant.

Good tips from the staff for breakfast. The area was fun with shopping and good restaurant choices.

a double room was not big enough for two people to move around in.

The first two nights we stayed in a small cabin which was right on the beach. The location was awesome. There was a deck to sit on and enjoy the view which was great. The cabin itself was very clean but needs to be updated. We had to move to a different cabin in order to stay a third night. This cabin had been remodeled and the difference was very apparent. It was very nice. However, this cabin was not on the beach. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful in finding us a place to stay for a third night.
