Very convenient to get to, yet well sound proofed so you do not get disturbed by traffic noise. NOTE: If you are leaving in direction The South, be careful not to miss the entrance to the A1, it is well hidden with absolutely no signposting. I think the people in the area do not want too many people to find it as the entrance road leads through some "quiet" residential streets. Anyway, the trick is to take a right to Oundle Rd. and you will hit the A1 in no time. Back to the hotel, I had a nice room with comfortable bed, tea/coffee tray, ironing facilities, modern bathroom, air con and big flat screen connecting well to my laptop. Internet was free and worked fine, parking was free of charge and there is plenty. The hotel is i little bit older but well kept. Breakfast was very good and they made some lovely poached eggs for me. Room service was good, too. Will definitely go again when travelling from North to South.

We attended a wedding on Saturday 8th July and purchased a round of drinks on arrival. Shortly after we were called through to the function room - the bar staff said they would put the drinks ( just purchased) on a tray and save them for us. On return, no sign of the drinks or the members of staff who dealt with us. Later on we were sitting at a table outside and were called in for the cutting of the cake. On returning to the table all the drinks had been cleared away except for the empty/dirty glasses, crockery etc which had been left. I tried to order a bottle of Prosecco, but at two different bars I was told that they had run out. We asked for the manager, who said they had plenty of stock and promptly found a bottle at over £33.00 (the same brand, online for approximately £8.49) Not impressed with the Marriott chain - service and drink prices such as these, need to be justified with faultless service and superb facilities/rating.

Great service in all departments ! Fast service st the counter, maid service and the restaurant. Checkout was so quick and precise. Parking lot was organised and clean. We will return too that location in a few months from now.

Currently staying at the hotel until the end of July. As an Elite member I checked in via the Marriott app and notified the hotel of certain requirements - none was met or even considered - but this was not a train smash however a fall on customer service. The hotels common areas, restaurants and bars are exceptional and cannot be faulted. Breakfast is good with a great variety and you cant go wrong with Starbucks coffee onsite! Check in was smooth and efficient by really friendly staff. Allocated room 128. Quiet surprised that in this day and age the hotel charged for WIFI, free WIFI only in the public areas (as an Elite member I have access to WIFI throughout the hotel - phew!) The room itself is great in terms of size and has all the basics on would expect, massive TV, really comfy bed (not so comfy pillows in terms of size - they are half pillows). The bathroom is big with all the basic amenities and a shower in the bathtub. I really like the heated mirror and water pressure in the shower. The cons: The room is lacking some of the basics I would expect. There is no mini bar or fridge, no slippers or gown (not that I actually use them but its a basic I've seen at Marriott hotels globally) There an iron in the room however the quality of the iron is questionable (would expect to find this type in an iBis) Rooms service menu is not available 24 hours and extremely limited options - just two main's and one is pizza. All in all - if you are staying for a few nights, great hotel. Staying longer - not the best option in my opinion and lacking in terms of expectations from the Marriott brand....

A good staff. They were courteous and attentive in their interactions. The place was fairly booked with ta wedding and the members of the Rolls Royce Club that were holding a local club event. Breakfast was crowded due to the level of booking which was good for the hotel. Parking adequate even for a crowd. Room was clean and maintained.

We stayed at the Peterborough Marriott for one night in the Bridal Suite as we had a party there at the Henry Royce Suite. The staff were fantastic throughout and very professional. The hotel has great amenities including a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and a bar that serves Starbucks coffee. The bridal suite was the highlight of the stay as it was huge and incorporated great facilities such as Wi-Fi, Jacuzzi and 2 separate bathrooms. I would highly recommend a stay at the Peterborough Marriott.

Booked very last minute which was no problem at all to the very helpful staff who accommodated me. Room was clean with a 48" TV. Breakfast and service was faultless in the morning. Checking out was quick and easy. I would stay here again. Thanks

If you stay here, try to get a room on the first floor. Otherwise, you will be hauling your baggage up the stairs. It seems odd for a modern Marriott to not bother with installing elevators. Just about all guests have heavy bags, right? The other caveat is that they charge a high fee for in-room wi-fi. This has become an antiquated practice at most hotels. Wonder why they continue it, especially at a place located in a business park. Otherwise, the rooms were adequate and staff helpful.

Stayed here on business on one of the hottest days of the year, the Air Conditioning wasn't working, no apology. Flies in the communal area carpets. Service in the restaurant was good. I expected more from a Marriott. Will stay round the corner at the Holiday Inn next time.

The staff are very friendly and discreet as I am a disabled business traveller. The room was of excellent proportions with a very comfortable bed. Facilities within the room have been well thought out with help cords at good points of reach if the guest is ever in trouble. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, this was also to be found on the room service menu. Entrance and reception areas very clean and fresh. I have stayed here before and was impressed on the whole experience the Marriott had to offer. Best of all Starbucks coffee on tap. :-)
