AVOID.
We booked this accommodation months in advance for a work trip, yet on the day of arrival the property left my team completely in the lurch.
We called the number provided on the booking to confirm our arrival time and were told there was no booking on their system. Moments later we received a cancellation notification through the Hotels.com app, which clearly showed that a booking did in fact exist. It seems the property had either forgotten about it or simply couldn’t be bothered to honour it.
This happened on the day of the stay, giving us no realistic time to make alternative arrangements. Because it was so last minute, we were forced to find alternative accommodation at nearly three times the price due to limited availability.
What made it worse was the complete lack of communication. There was no explanation, no apology, and no attempt from the property owner to help resolve the situation.
