Very good experience at Ibis Cambridge Hotel. The rooms were very good and comfortable, I just didn’t like to much the bathroom. People at the reception were very friendly too. Super close to the train station.

Hotelvwas great value and the rooms were very nice. The hotel is right next to Cambridge train station which is handy if you are travelling into Cambridge by rail (which I was). The area around the station is great - a lot of new shops, coffee shops, places to eat etc. Only downside is thatcits about a 10-15 min walk into the centre of Cambridge, but I didnt mind that.

The location is great whether you’re utilising the proximity to the railway station or wanting to be within walking distance of the city. Reception is mobile, resulting in you being greeted by a roaming receptionist in the lobby and checked in via a PDA. A modern approach and fine by me. Our receptionist was excellent; very friendly & professional. The room was ideal, apart from the usual bathroom ‘pod’ rather than a traditional bathroom, but you know what to expect with Ibis, so no surprise there. All in all a very good hotel.

Stayed in this Ibis recently and it is up to the usual Ibis standards. It has a good location (~15 minute walk to the central area of Cambridge), spotlessly clean rooms - all we wanted. Unfortunately there is no car parking although you can use the Railway Station car park, it is pricey - £12 a day at time of writing.

Right by the station and a short walk to centre. Modern idea of no reception but very helpful friendly staff available in the foyer. Clean, comfortable, compact room. Great value for money and would stay again when visiting Cambridge. Visiting to attend a gig at the Corn Exchange.

Dare I say usual IBIS standard. If you have ever stayed at one then you will know pretty much what to expect. Bedrooms are fairly basis but everything is there with a comfy bed and decent shower. Good breakfast with views over the square in front. Location is next to the station which will be good for some, ideal for us. short bus ride into centre, 5 mins. have stayed before and will stay again. however, it is pricy for what it is.

Location is great, 1 min walk from a train station, many restaurants/pubs, cafes beside a hotel, Sainsbury shop opposite a hotel, taxi rang in front if a hotel. Our room (410) was tidy, clean and on a quite floor facing a city, fast check-in in and check out, friendly and helpful staff. When we are visiting our friends again in Cambridge, we will stay in ibis hotel again

My husband and I stayed overnight even though we only live 12 miles from Cambridge. We chose the hotel because of the excellent reviews and reasonable price; we were not disappointed. The hotel is modern and quirky, we loved the ‘no reception’ receptionists who were very helpful and friendly. The bar area had a large range of gins and also served pizza until 3am. The bedroom was comfortable with a decent sized bed, perfectly okay shower and although the hotel is situated by the railway there was little noise. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the breakfast room wouldn’t look out of place in a boutique hotel. We walked into the centre of Cambridge which took about 20 minutes but as the hotel is next to the rail station there is a constant supply of taxis if you would prefer. Although we live locally and have no reason to stay again, we definitely will!

Reasonably priced well positioned hotel, ideal if arriving in Cambridge by train - maybe not so if your not as you will be quite a walk from the city centre. Rooms were comfortably appointed enough for a one night stopover, didn’t eat at the hotel.

I stay at this hotel a couple of times a year and really love it. It’s right next to the train station (and staff are happy to put your case in left luggage even after you’ve checked out). It’s clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. There’s a cosy cafe on the ground floor and a great selection at breakfast. The tea/coffee selection in the room is nice too. Security is great - you need to use you room card to activate the lifts. WiFi is always reliable and the number of devices you use WiFi on isn’t limited. There’s a power cube in the room, with both normal plug sockets and usb sockets. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.
