Overall a good place to stay. Easy bus link into central Cambridge too. Close to the new Cavendish Laboratory also. Air Conditioning cannot be adjusted below 19degC.

It’s a nice enough hotel but it’s a 45 minute walk from town on a new mixed development site and to charge £20 to park there (short term airport rates) is too much. The rooms are spacious and painted blue of all colours… our carpet was covered in brown stains and the painting hadn’t been finished. We arrived back after a night out at 22:35 to find all three bars were now shut. So goodnight Hyatt Centric, won’t bother with breakfast or coming back.

The overall experience was positive. The hotel looks newly built and is tastefully designed and decorated in the MCM style, which we appreciated. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The main king-size bed was excellent, but the additional sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. My 20-year-old son had a terrible night and suffered from back pain for a few days. Overall, it was a good experience, but don’t ask my son about it! Or, if you’re looking for a more comfortable stay, consider getting two rooms instead of one.
