The Homestead B&B located only 5 minutes from Cambridge city centre. Very quiet and peaceful farmstay experience. A beautiful mountain view and garden view bedrooms selection. Free Continental breakfast every morning. There are friendly Alpacas and Calfs wandering on the properties. Only 5 minutes from lake Karapiro and 5 minutes away from Cambridge Town Centre. There are a number of outdoor activities around. Only 45 minutes to Rotorua and 1 hour to Taupo. We offer a Queen Ensuite studio. Our facilities include free wifi, private bathroom, Kitchenette and more.
There are a number of cuisines in city centre offer a number of choice for your lunch and dinner.

Great rural location

The homestay was a great rural location near to my friends, easy access from the main highway, clean and spacious. The Llamas were an added attraction.

Lovely place

Lovely room with good pressure in shower. Very clean. Only downside is trying to find it at night as it is off a main highway with no lights.

We had expected the 2 bedroom, bathroom and kitchen but instead had 2 rooms in the farmhouse which had 4 rooms for guests and 1 for his sons whom were helpful and friendly. Yakin provides a continental breakfast in a communal sitting/dining room and was always happy to help when we needed to borrow things. We were lucky as usually we were the only guests as there is only 1 bathroom in the farmhouse.

We had only one rainy night here, coming from Rotorua and enjoyed sitting on the sheltered veranda smelling gras, not sulfur! :) It is a simple home that is nice for people that like animals. Who can resist, looking into the big, gentle eyes of a lama, when opening the curtains? We cannot. Whatching the lamas, rabbit and turkeys during breakfast was much better than morning TV
