Wunderbares Hotel für Individualisten

Das kleine Hotel (10 Zimmer) ist wirklich hübsch und grandios gelegen. Ohne Mietwagen ist man natürlich verloren, aber für individuelle Erkundungen perfekt! Soweit ich es mitbekommen habe, schmeißen die 3 netten Mädels vom Empfang alles vom Frühstück bis zum Saubermachen, die Atmosphäre ist sehr herzlich und familiär. Eine Küche ist vorhanden und kann mitbenutzt werden, um die Ecke gibt es einen Minimarkt (größere Supermärkte in Prazeres und Calheta), das reichliche Frühstück wird gemeinsam an einem großen Tisch eingenommen. Direkt vorm Hotel verläuft eine der Levadas, der Blick sowohl vom Hotel als auch von den Bergstraßen dahin ist atemberaubend - ebenso wie die Hotelzufahrt, die ist nämlich abenteuerlich steil ;) Der Infinity-Pool ist klein aber wunderhübsch, die Anlage liebevoll angelegt und gepflegt. Billard, einige Spiele und Kamin im Aufenthaltsraum, Meerblick von allen Zimmern, teilweise eigene Terasse. Wenn wir noch mal nach Madeira fahren, dann auf jeden Fall ins Colinha da Faja!

Fantastische Lage mit grandioser Aussicht und eine sehr spezielle Zufahrt. Darüber ist die Ausstattung sehr gut und der gemeinsame Frühstückstisch führt zu netten Kontakten. Das Team ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wunderschöne kleine Pension

Diese hübsche, kleine Pension liegt etwas abgelegen außerhalb von Calheta (Colina da Faja). Das Haus ist sehr schön renoviert und sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber schön eingerichtet. Der Service ist sehr nett und herzlich. Eine Besonderheit ist die große, offene Wohn-Ess-Küche. Hier nehmen alle Gäste an einem Tisch Ihr Frühstück ein (sehr leckeres Buffet mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen) und können ansonsten die Küche benutzen, um Mittag- oder Abendessen zu kochen, auch ein Kühlschrank für die Gäste steht zur Verfügung. Die Pension befindet sich in sehr schöner Lage - von der Terrasse und dem Pool aus wunderbarer Blick aufs Meer! Da die Pension etwas abgelegen liegt, braucht man sowohl für die Anfahrt als auch für Ausflüge ein Mietauto.

Freundlich geführtes Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Das Hotel wurde sehr freundlich und gut geführt. Der Frühstücksservice war sehr gut und die Atmospähre beim Frühstück sehr persönlich und mit den anderen Gästen oftmals lustig. Die Lage war grds. ok., da man vom Haus direkt eine Wanderung starten konnte, ansonsten eher geeignet, wenn man eher abgeschieden wohnen möchte. Der Blick vom Hotel auf das Meer war sehr schön. Das Zimmer selbst war eher klein und das Bett aus unserer Sicht sehr hart und mit 1,40 etwas schmal.

Très bel hôtel avec une superbe vue, petit déjeuner très bon, copieux et frais. Cadre idyllique. Comme spécifié dans la situation il est un peu difficile d'accès et il faut aller jusqu'au bout de la route. Notre meilleure nuit sur Madère.
