The Westin Calgary

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

For just under $200 US per night for 4 nights, I was not impressed with this hotel. The Orbitz photos of this facilty show beautiful bathrooms. In reality the bathroom barely fit 1 person.......tiny and ridiculous. Westin Calgary never again.

Everything was great in the room and the front desk was super helpful and informative.

Nice location in downtown, but the hotel is outdated and needs some renovation. Staff is very friendly. Good for one nice.

it was great to get such a good last minute deal on our stay at the westin - a perfect way to refresh after a long flight. good downtown location.

We could see Eau Claire out of our window-it was a great stay.

room was ready when we arrived a little earlier than anticipated, staff extremely accommodating at all levels.

Parking lot was completely full when we checked in. Ended up parking on the street overnight.

Great location; right in downtown and walking distance to restaurants & Prince’s island. Starbucks is located in the lobby. Very nice room.

Nice place, we'd stay here again, no problem. Staff was very friendly. It's a bit too far for most to walk to and from the Stampede but we never really had an issue getting a taxi. Beds were really comfy. In room coffee was surprisingly great.

Hotel was good. Bed is very comfortable. Location is pretty good. The staff were great, really, I couldn't have asked for more. We had one issue where my uncle found out they Pre-authorized credit card charges for an incremental $100 per day, for room for any changes you might incur during your stay. They did not actually submit the charges for payment but you'll see them as pending on your credit card online. They don't tell you about this beforehand. I wasn't too worried but my uncle was upset. I guess they should have said something beforehand. I'd stay here again. Blueberry Mule (Moscow mule variant) cocktail was great at the bar. Prime rib sliders should be copywriten, they were also great.

Convenient One of my pet peeves is hearing the person in the room above me using the toilet. An uncomfortable waking moment rife with misinterpretation.

I was in Calgary for a 1 week trip and this location served the purpose well. They offered a deal where you can decline room service for a 5 dollar food card. While the program is marketed to Saving the Environment we all know it's about them saving a little money. Very nice Staff and great location for downtown. I'll be back.

Well the hotel was beautiful, but I had to pay $20 to park 6 blocks away and walk with no jacket (because I thought I'd be in the underground parking and just take the elevator up) and all my bags.. Then they charged me $10 for an in room movie that I did not watch or purchase !

Most confortable bed! Best location! Good service!

Hotel is recently upgraded, close to major downtown areas, and has good amenities. I would go back.

Great hospitality The Keg was great staff was helpful enjoyed the Stampede.

The hotel facility and staff were top notch. The only complaint was the inability to control room temperature during my stay. The room was too warm and I could not get the thermostat to go low enought to cool it suffciently.

love that you can walk to the mall through the buildings and not have to go outside if nits cold. Has a Starbucks and Keg right in the hotel so you don't have to leave for anything if you dont want. Only wish it had a hot tub. Gym and pool great.

We love this hotel. The staff are always perfect and the rooms are very comfortable and updated. The only hitch this time was the gym and pool were being renovated so we did not get to work out with the 20th floor panoramic views. Starbucks in the bottom of the hotel - one of the best hotels in Calgary.

Quality room and great pool on top floor of building. Central location downtown. Chic trendy lobby bar. Clean rooms with nice big bed.
