We weren’t expecting a luxurious hotel as we just needed a place to stay for the Calgary Stampede, and we have stayed at Best Westerns in the past and have good luck, but this was disappointing. The room stunk like dust and possibly smoke, there were oily arm and hand prints all over the head board, there was a white stain on the dresser that could have easily been wiped off, carpets were coming apart, our little breakfast table had two completely different chairs, the drawer of cutlery was dirty and cutlery was unpolished, and one of the queen beds had a duvet cover that was evidently not washed. For almost $400 a night it felt like we were in a dirty motel. Very disappointed.

The staff: are amazing, very helpful, and friendly. The hotel: outdated, really noisy because of the construction, no balcony, the breakfast is very basic, NOT sound proof as advertised.

The property is in the midst of renovations. The rooms also have some issues with soft goods - curtains are not all on the track. There are also carpet tacks coming through the carpet outside the bathroom door.

Room was nice with mini kitchen and sitting area! Wish breakfast had sausage/potatoes. They had egg patties, bacon, beans, waffles and fruit salad. Clean and comfy. Very tall building.
