I booked my vacation through Virgin Vacations and While in Rome everything went fine. I get to the train terminal in Florence and take a taxi to this hotel. Little did I know that it was situated in the middle of no-where. I am not kidding but it was a good 30 min taxi ride from the city center. I call Virgin Vacations and they offered to help me in 3 hours. Luckily, there was a room available at another hotel affiliated to this one and the clerk was very nice and accommodating. We ended up staying right in the heart of the city center and close to everything.

Very basic hotel. To be fair they moved us out of a room into a different one when we complained about the heat of our room. It is basic though with a terrible breakfast. Loads of cakes and sugary things. No fruit or anything decent for breakfast. Wouldn't stay again.

Low budget, very friendly staff. They speak good English. Hotel need minor renovation. Bus stop is right off the street. Breakfast area is clean. Rooms are clean. Reading some reviews, I was expecting a bad hotel. All the contrary. I would recommend this hotel if you travel as a group. We paid €250 for a family of 10. Breakfast included. You can not beat that. Bathroom is small, but clean. This is a very good 2 star hotel for €25 per night.

This hotel was freezing in the lobby were we had to sit to get wifi because it doesn't work anywhere else, the wifi barley worked in the lobby, the room smelled like mold and the TV didn't work. Very out dated and run down.. Sad example of 3 stars. If you are used to a hotel with some customer service e in mind this is not the place.

A little hotel near the Florence. Good as center point for exploring Tuscany, since it has ample of free parking spots and is situated near the highway. Good breakfast in terms of quantity, not as much in terms of variety. Spacious rooms, but in the need of renovation. Very good staff, especially in the dinning area. Poor wi-fi is the biggest drawback. Would stay again, but not sure if I would recommend it. Still, good for the money.

I have never seen a more disgusting hotel. We had the unfortunate experience of staying here for three nights. We were with a tour with my daughter's soccer team and were promised 4-star hotels. I realize that 4 stars in the US is very different from 4 starts in Europe, so I wasn't expecting large rooms or even the same quality standards, but this was the bottom of the barrel. The lobby and dining room look very nice and inviting, but that's where it ends. The rooms are filthy. We had to keep our shoes on because the carpet was so disgustingly dirty. The room smelled abominably. The shower was just a shower head on the wall, with a curtain and a drain - nothing to keep the water in the shower, so the bathroom floor got flooded whenever we took a shower and we had to use all of our towels to mop up the mess. The food here was inedible. We had a dinner and two breakfast. All we could stomach was the baked goods. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

The hotel is well located in Calenzano , about 400 m from train station and there is a bus stop 50 m from the hotel .There is a shopping center and a Carrefour supermarket nearby at 300 m. Bus no. 2 goes to Santa Maria Novela train station in Florence . The room was small , with basic and old furniture ,old and small Tv screen , need some renovations. Breakfast was basic consisting in sweets , croisant , ham , cereals , milk , juice , and was the same every morning .

The hotel is ok to stay for a short time, they were cleaning the room every day, but still there was a lot of dust in the room, we had ants and other insects in our room, bathroom and even on the breakfast table. The breakfast is really horrible, every day the same, dry cakes from the store and the bread was awful, the only good thing were the fresh made croissants and one friendly and helpful receptionist.

We`ve just spent 3 nights at this Hotel which,we understood to be only a couple of kilometers from Florence city centre.Sadly, thats not the case-more like 15-20.A one hour bus ride to Florence, although the Bus is only 1.2euros.A Taxi is 40 euros-bad news if you want to go into town quickly. The Hotel itself has no facilities(except continental breakfast). The Hotel is sited along a busy main road on edge of town and close to an industrial estate.Only one restaurant in walking distance-no other facilities around. No television working in room despite several complaints to Reception. Also no room telephone working and no Hot water available on Sat 23/11/13(day and night).Shower has no screen-only a curtain which does`nt reach to tray,so water runs all across floor.Avoid this Hotel if you can unless you`re slumming it on a working trip!

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night on July 16th 2013. We checked in early at 11 am because one of the 4 members of our family did not feel well. We had problem finding the place as there is no option for the address in our Gps. I had to ask at 4 different places by the time we found it. Reception is run down looking and small but both the female and male receptionist spoke enough English to understand us. Hey were asking to pay the city tax 2 eu per night per person ahead which we never had to do at other places. We got a room at the end of the hall and opening the door to the room was already giving me a bad feeling. The whole room was looking like a soldier cabin with 3 beds tightly beside each other and one beside the wall. Room was very cramped for 4 people 3 had to sit down for 1 to get around. In the bathroom the toilet seat moved many times it felt you will fall inside. Ceiling in the room is metal panelled and missing board so wires and electric parts are visible. When we took a shower no matter how much we tried to keep the water inside the curtain it overflowed to the floor. Very hard to move around too if you were washing yourself with a little more movement bumped your arm elbow to the toilet water tank which was about this hight. Bathroom cramped and dark, light fixture is a bulb only. A/c was going all day could not even feel it so decided to open the window. It was not the best option as there is a soccer field right outside the room and a match was going on with a lot of noise and reflector lights right into the room. Within seconds we had a thousand of Mosquitos in the room and had a Terrible night listening and chasing them. Walls are thin I could hear people's conversation and how they were moving the chair or bed around. Breakfast was equally terrible. They served cake for breakfast one type of bread sweets nothing fresh. They did not even care to provide knives so we just put on the butter with our spoon. Only good thing is free parking and free Internet which was only working in the lobby.
