1. The situation :
In the heart of the village of Calenzana, 5 minutes walk from all shops (bakery, butcher, biscuit, tobacco, 3 cafes, 4 restaurants, supermarket)
Near the sea (15 minutes from the sand house of Calvi Bay or the beaches of Lumio)
At the foot of the mountain: many hiking departures (GR20, Mare e Monti ...)
Served by the airport of Calvi (15 minutes) and the port of Ile Rousse (30 minutes)

2. The House :
Villa in rez of garden consisting of two accommodation T3 adjoining which can be joined (see announcement "I Cantari"), each having access to the traditional swimming pool (4x12m) secured by barriers. Contemporary construction completed in May 2017 on landscaped area of ​​3000 m², fully fenced with private access.

3. Housing :
T3 on one level (95 m²) with private sandstone terrace (40 m²) and reserved garden.
Three bedrooms offering six beds (one with double bed, one with three beds of 90 cm including a retractable one bedroom 1 sleeping 90cm) and a possible sleeping in the living room

Terrific spot in the hills above Calvi

Catherine has done a great job of putting together a very comfortable place to stay while in the north of Corsica. This is a beautiful and newly built and furnished duplex with its own pool and great privacy. Just a 10-minute drive up the hill from Calvi and close to many nice beaches (and vineyards) nearby. Beautiful apartment in a peaceful village setting with stunning views with easy access to the coast

These pair of apartments are set in the lovely hillside village of Calenzana which has good facilities (restaurants, bars, shops, bakery, specialist Corsican food shops, garage, supermarket - Spar at the bottom is better though) & a lovely peaceful atmosphere but is within easy reach of the beaches and this area of the island. The surrounding mountain scenery is fantastic. We loved the apartment and is suited our young family really well. It is well equipped for babies & young children with cot, high chair, buggy, backpack carried, beach toys, change table, sun tent, etc which meant we didn’t need to bring these things. The sand toys were much used! The pool (not heated) is fenced, good size and was enjoyed by our kids and we loved eating on the patio and using the BBQ. Inside the space is good, kitchen well equipped and the decor is simple but lovely. We wouldn’t have called it a 3 bedroom property though if that’s what you’re expecting. There are 2 actual bedrooms (1 king size & 2 twins). A small room off the main bedroom (through sliding door & with a window) has a day bed/sofa which would work for a young child and we used this space to put our cot. The lounge also has a daybed/sofa which you could use (this is the only sofa). This is a beautifully finished, modern, well located villa set on one level with a shared pool that is well suited to smaller groups of adults or families with young or older children. Catherine (not on Corse but she has helpers) speaks good English and is prompt and easy to deal with. Corsica’s mountain scenery is stunning, villages attractive and with good beaches - great combination. We had a fab holiday and I recommend staying here if your visiting this part of the island.

Ein sehr schönes Haus im urigen Bergdorf Calenzana. Zu Fuß sind Restaurants und Bäcker gut erreichbar. Der Pool war perfekt, die Kinder haben ihn genossen. Catherine war sehr freundlich und die Anreisebeschreibung sehr genau. Einen halben Punkt Abzug gibt es hinsichtlich Sauberkeit.

Très agréable séjour au sein d'une très belle propriété

Maison spacieuse et agréable à vivre. Très beau jardin paysagé avec piscine à partager. Village à 5 min avec tous les commerces à proximité ainsi que très vivant. A 20 min de Calvi. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques Ce fût un séjour vraiment trop court :) mais tellement agréable.

Das Ferienhaus in Calenzana ist super ausgestattet und wunderschön und ruhig gelegen. Leider war der Pool bei unserer Ankunft sehr ungepflegt. Nach unserer Meldung bei der Vermieterin wurde dieser Mangel jedoch ziemlich schnell behoben und wir konnten den Pool geniessen. Eine tolle Ferienwoche in einer sehr schönen Unterkunft.

Un superbe séjour dans un cadre magnifique

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette très belle maison, neuve, spacieuse, très propre et très bien équipée. La terrasse, la piscine, le cadre étaient un enchantement. L’environnement est très calme, les propriétaires sont très réactifs et accueillants. Et le village de Calenzana est charmant et dispose de tous les petits commerces nécessaires. Wir waren zwei Wochen vor Ort, 2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder (10 und 2); das Haus war sehr sauber, neuwertig und toll ausgestattet; besondere gut gefallen hat uns die Klimaanlage, die sich sehr gut steuern ließ; der Pool war sauber, groß und wurde insbesondere von unseren Kindern den ganzen Tag bespielt; der ort ist sehr nett, mehrere Lokale, Restaurants etc; bis zum STrand sind es ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto; es war toll

Séjour exceptionnel en Balagne

Nous avons séjourné 15 jours à la villa Catalina. La maison est superbe, le mobilier épuré et tendance, le matériel mis à disposition de qualité et très complet. Le jardin paysager et la piscine ... somptueux ! Baignade avec vue imprenable sur les montagnes de Calenzana et la Méditerranée ! Ces vacances en Balagne ont été agréables autant pour les enfants que pour les parents. Nous remercions les propriétaires qui ont fortement contribué à la magie du séjour.
