The building is frightening. The stairs of filthy, full of debris, unlit, graffiti, broken down doors . . . Yes, there's a small elevator to the 5th floor where the rooms are located but beware. The rooms were excessively loud. The breakfast was unsatisfactory and coffee was near impossible to get. I get this isn't the staff's fault. Having said that, I left two nights early because of the building and other issues. I was told I would get a refund but they never followed through, unfortunately. Orbitz indicated that they wouldn't answer their phone when they tried to work with them to follow-up on my refund. The conclusion? Orbitz said that "because they wouldn't answer their phone" they could not issue a refund. That seems illogical - wouldn't it be the other way around? If the establishment wouldn't answer their phone, shouldn't that be a red flag. Book elsewhere and be safe.
