This is my third stay at the hotel after the renovation. This stay i was checked-in by (Amir) from the reception desk who was Profesional check-in process was smooth easy and fast also got upgraded to club floor room. room was new & clean. I was satisfied with my stay until the check-out . i went to the reception desk and there was a lady her name is (Madona) told her my room number for check-out and after 5 min of waiting she asks me what is the room number! then she asked me if there is anything taken from the mini bar . I told the things that I used ... then she went on the phone with the mini bar guy to check what was taken from my room with no respect as if was lying ! also waited for another 10 min so they check then was the time to return my cash deposit which will be returned in EGP also I waited for another long time as she told me she doesn't have enough cash !! then came another lady named (jennifer) they were in complete mess looking at each other with no apologizing, bad attuide . the check out took nearly 25 min ! even in my previous stay it took so long for check-in/ check-out process. most of the reception staff lacks professionalism ,, they cant be the front face of 5-star hotel or a brand like Sheraton.

Location is good for down activities rooms are good breakfast was great staff were very Helpful however the check in and check out were little bite slow rooms are good but Little bite small but clean and comfortable

This place was one of the few hotels in Cairo in the late 70s and 80s. An extension was built during the peak tourism boom in Egypt. It stayyed closed for several years and reopened lately. The rooms in the extension are open the remaining rooms in the main building are still in renovation. The Sheraton legend of service and courtesy is underlining each step in the hotel. Conciege and Front Desk very professional - we had a very late check in and duty manager Mr Victor was very attentive and helpful. The restuarant coffeeshop staff simply amazing. Breakfast is excellent; choices for every taste. The shopping archade is not complete yet though we are confident in our next visit it will be functional. Hey up the legend, you wrote history decades ago and will rise to the top.

Those of you used to higher Starwood Properties will not be disappointed with this hotel. t's a big hotel with more than one entrance, so it may take some time to get used to. The staff is all amazing, Khaled the bellman and Jennifer at the Front Desk were outstanding. They offer a limo car service to anywhere in Cairo. I booked a service to the airport for about $22 or 400 pounds. I also used the service for going to a late night sushi place, Fuego, and for pickup back to the hotel. For me the convenience not having to find a taxi vs paying a little more was definitely worth it. The staff was quick to fix any problems I ran into. The business center pc's mouse's all stopped working, but the front desk called someone from IT right away to fix it. The heater in my room was not working but someone came and fixed it as well. The hotel is in a great location.

This hotel is a real credit and welcome addition to the Marriott family. Every member of staff here is well trained. From the meet and greet at the door all the way through, the staff cannot do enough for you. The newly renovated premises are amazing. Grand views over Cairo and the Nile. Amira at reception is fantastic. Lena VIP guest manager and the staff in the VIP lounge are the best. Staff from some London hotels should come here and see hospitality at its finest.

Cairo sheraton has been for years from the top hotels in cairo and its location gives it an add value and privileges. It is in the center of cairo if you want to be near most of the attractions. It has a nice nile view rooms . The look now is a modern look as most of the hotels now in cairo except few that still has its classic style. We have tried el rawi restaurant for the breakfast buffet and it as great plus a nice view .

We stayed here for 2 nights to end our trip in Egypt. The location of the hotel is really perfect, but difficult to locate by Uber drivers because there are 2 entrances (actually the same entrance on 2 different streets). It is located at the junction between Giza and Cairo and has easy access to both sides. The location also helped us to save a lot of time and money on Uber rides. This hotel underwent a lengthy renovation (we did not get to use the pool during our stay because it was closed in preparation for the re-opening on October 10) and the result is comparatively 5 stars. Designers used upscale materials all around - Villeroy and Boch porcelain wash basin, luxury bedding, thick bath robes, Beard & Co silverware, and modern design furnishings with clean lines and shaker style doors. North American familiarity of a 5 star hotel was inexplicably comforting after a 4 day cruise on the Nile and we slept very well both nights. We missed breakfast the first day and ordered a late breakfast the second day. Breakfast was delicious, portions were big, and not too expensive - about EP 480 for 2 people. The gym was huge and the equipment very nice and updated (LA Fitness machines). Staff was polite and always wore a smile. No one asked us for a tip - we offered because they were genuinely helpful and kind. Will definitely return.

I travel a lot for work. And stay in many hotels. With that being said, I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel. It exceeded all expectations. The ENTIRE staff was fabulous. Very friendly and helpful. I would definitely without any question stay here again. (Only complaint is that the Casino wasn't open and it didn't say that anywhere when we booked the hotel.)

I sat everything in my title. The breakfast is very good and rich. The service is good. The people are helpful. Just is not a 5 stars hotel, but you dont pay for 5 stars hotel. Next to Tahrir , next to Down town , next to the Opera house, next to the Egyptian museum, close to the metro, on Nile, very good service but a bit old, ore very old :) ! So vintage Hilton!
