The location is great as there's a view of the nile. We have requested two rooms nile view they gave us very small nile view rooms and the other view was on the pool and the crowed in the street which we didn't want to have. We have requested high floor rooms they gave us one in the high floor and another one in the fifth floor. Since we were family we needed to stay in the same floor. They said the only option is the 5th floor which has a very poor view. The front desk kept me standing for about 20 minutes. She was over the phone and seemed to be not sure of what she was doing. I have never seen check in that takes 20 minutes!!!!!! The door of the bathroom was not easily opening or closing as if I am in a 2 stars hotel. There's no coffee maker in the room. When I was in my room one of house keeping was watching me from another room. How rude and disrespectful!!!! I would definatly not recommend this hotel as they at totally unprofessional.
Sheraton hotel Caïro casino and hotel is a good hotel with friendly staf. Espessialy liked the bar at the 2nd Floor, rawi spot night with Ahmed Ali and mojitomaker magdy fahim sheers schol enjoy this place
It was my first time in Cairo( Not in the Middle East) from Check-in with the Front Desk Mgr it was all down hill (Never acknowledged my status). I had booked two rooms one for my mother and another for me and a friend of mine ALL Prepaid. Took 3 hours for them too check us in. He would not allow me and my friend to stay in the same room with two queen beds back and fourth for 3hrs. Once we were in the room the complementary water in both rooms were opened had to call down numerous times spoke to (Madonna) clueless and very under trained Front Desk Staff. Its unfortunate the hotel has just been renovated its really nice but the Front desk Staff from the Manager to the agents have a very combative nonchalant attitude. If you are thinking that you are staying at a Sheraton its more like a motel 6. We also ate one night at one of the restaurants (Giannini's)we were the only one's I wonder why. Our dinner took 2hrs till we got it my mother ordered a rid eye steak with mashed potatoes there was a huge piece of fat hidden under the mashed potatoes she didn't eat it and they wouldn't take it off the bill. Finally upon check out I didn't catch his name he was just so dismissive and very unprofessional but I have his Cashier ID (A0056008) he kept asking for a CC it was ALL PREPAID nothing was charged to the room. I dreaded having to coming back too this hotel during my stay in Egypt nothing was relaxing about. I never write reviews but i had to this hotel and staff don't deserve to have Sheraton on the front of the building. I'm planning my next trip back to Cairo but i will stay clear of this hotel next time.
Good location , very friendly staff , house keeping rules are little different from normal five star hotels , good food. swimming pool and health club are clean and well served. the Gym is one of the very well equipped ones I experienced.
Located in the heart of Cairo. This is an ideal to stay in if you want to over see the Nile. The Lounge on the top floor provides a great view of the city. The staff are extra friendly and very efficient. The breakfast has a good variety.
The room, facilities and location of the hotel were great for first time visitor to Egypt. Staff were helpful and friendly specially the concierge. Decent swimming pool and professional guards we felt safe to leave the kids swimm alone.
This is the first time that I stay in this hotel. Most recently, it was closed for refurbishment, and it is still in its soft opening stage. It is nicely located on the left bank of the Nile, overlooking the Gesira Branch of the Nile and several of the hotels on the two banks as Sofitel, the old Grand Hayatt and the Four Seasons. All rooms are in tip-top shape. Bathrooms are very modern, with separate shower cubicle, and a tub. Their mattresses are very confortable with the right firmness and soft feel. In fact I enjoyed several hours of deep sleep helped by the perfect acoustics from the balcony. Bed linen and towels are all very new and shining clean. Putting it simply, the room is everything you would expect from a top 5 star hotel. The Rawi Restaurant is overlooking the Nile. The morning sun gives you a warm morning feeling, and puts you in the mood for their rich breakfast buffet, which included wide selection of Middle Eastern choices, Continental specialties, and rich baked assortment of croissant and muffins.. Their homus was among the best I ever tasted in Egypt. I would have loved to see a baking oven for the manaeeish and Saj. Their service is very consistent. Our favorite server was Gihan Fawzi, who did her level best every morning to make us feel at home. I tried their dinner once, but I would not recommend it. They have a well equipped gym, and a nice swimming pool. I had very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it, with one caveat! This is a quiet and cozy hotel. If you love being in loud and busy lobbies, and surrounded by a lot of people, then you should look elsewhere.
The hotel was opened recently after their renovation. Located in city center, very friendly team & I was well recognized as SPG member. Room was clean, with balcony (Nile view) & very comfortable. Their health club is in the same floor of swimming pool & has very good equipments & atmosphere Tip: preferably to ask taxi or uber driver to use university bridge if you are crossing Nile to reach easily the hotel entrance
