I’ve just completed a two nights stay at the hotel and want to say that the staff and management are clearly working as hard as they can to make the best experience as possible for guests. I particularly want to thank the Mix Restaurant manager and his colleague, Salma, who were cheerful and welcoming at all times. I was also made welcome and comfortable at the pool in what was a lovely two day stay. A haven of calm in busy Masaken Sheraton. Thanks!
So sorry to see bad reviews on this hotel. We spent a weekend break and have nothing bad to say. Rooms were clean, breakfast was nice (sadly didn’t have outdoor tables served - or may be for better due to the streets dust). The hotel itself is sunny and light. The pool is small but was quiet and refreshing. Drinks served there and in the lobby bar were quite nice. The only wish we had - a possibility of early Check in. We had to wait till standard time whereas the hotel looked pretty empty to us - but can’t blame the hotel for it - the rules are the rules .
The place xhanged totally. I visited this Hotel many many times and since my last 2 visits, I noticed much upgrades in rooms quality, staff, food and reception. Really the place became very interesting to visit again now. Karim @ the reception is a very professional. But he is working is the night shift. Also Mr. Nasser at the main restaurant is very polite and generous and welcoming. They already started to get the trust back.

. .This hotel is a disgraceful hotel in this chain. Rooms are looking so old and not maintained. Bathrooms are disgusting. Team except some individuals are way behind professional.tips is nearly the only key to get what you paid for.
Our experience is the same as other reviewers. We were again put in another poorly managed hotel by the On the go tours (despite our previous complaints). When we entered the room, it was smelling of strong varnish and noted the desk was freshly painted and it was still sticky. Very outdated room, carpets stains everywhere and the bathroom was poorly maintained - grouts in the bath area, floors and in the wall below the sink had moulds, the door handle was hanging with a nail as per attached (safety issue for elderly if they stay in this room). The bathroom floor got flooded after having a shower. Breakfast was sub-standard with arrogant staff and the fruit salad bowl was filled with almost stale fruit salad. We have stayed at Radisson Blu hotels in other countries and this hotel is a shame to the Radisson Blu group. Will not stay here again.
Rooms in not good standing, needing urgent refurbishment, pillows very high and not available normal ones, bed too hard, service of the staff not very good. Avoid booking tours in the hotel they are pricy and tourist traps
We had a room with a view of the slums after making it clear in the reservation that we wanted the better view, they were quick to change our room upon arrival. Our first room had bathroom problems, every time you flushed the toilet... some of what is in the bowl makes it out. We filed our complaint, and we got upgraded to a suite which was nice for the first day. On our second upgrade day we left the room early morning and came back during the evening. Our room was flooded. The AC unit was dripping water the entire time into our room. Maintenance eventually fixed the problem at 2:00 am we were super tired so we told them not to dry the room our flight was early. The positive experience that came from our stay was the extremely friendly staff.
Stayed there for 3 nights. Here is what went wrong: 1. Folks at reception desk were terrible. They do not know anything about customer service. People cutting in line right and left. Just a chaos. Do not expect anything in US standard. 2. Bathroom smells like sewerage. We stayed in three different rooms. Smell is consistent. 3. Hotel is old and not upto standard of Radisson Blu. I would not stay here again if I have options. Only reason I stayed is that I had club carlson miles and I got these rooms free. I hardly ever write any review. Finally I met their manager Karim Fathhi. He was great and helped me out of some of these receptionist jokers. Thanks Karim.
Arrived at hotel earlier than the Checkin time, left our language, went for a quick 4hour tour around the area. During our check in, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to Business grade rooms. This is excellent customer service. Looking forward for massage treat at the 9th floor.
