Run down and dirty restaurant. Not very competent service either. Friendly reception staff though. Rooms are not very clean either. Pityful Christmas decoration to boot. Is not worrhy of the Radisson brand, or I am mistaken in what that brand stands for

This was one of the worst Radisson Blu Hotels I have been to in my entire life. I have been living in Radisson's all around the world from San Fransico, Oslo, Budapest, Stockholm etc. but this one has put me off Radisson as a Brand. In my visit to Egypt I stayed in many 5 star hotels but this one is not even worthy of a 3 star. Location is an advantage if you want to be close to the Airport and New Malls but for the Pyramids in Giza this is around 30 kms drive and may take 1.5 hrs in Cairo's Traffic. Service was terrible as you might have to call more than 3 times and wait upto an hour to get simple things like a bottle of water. The bathrooms and rooms were in terrible state and need modernization. Our family had 3 rooms and the showers and taps in every room were leaking. We were not able to charge anything to the room and had to dish out cash for everything that we ordered. My daughters were put off with the hygiene in the Breakfast/Dining Area and refused to have breakfast or any food in the hotel. The food also was below par comparing to other Radisson Hotels we have stayed in. The Swimming pool was in open but the temperature of the pool was not controlled so virtually unusable in cold climates. To use Spa facilities like sauna, jacuzzi you have to dish out 90 Egyptian pounds which is generally free in other hotels.

I stayed eight days in The Raddison Blu Heliopolis (22 DEC- 30 DEC). It is a modern and good furnished hotel. It is also conveniently located with easy access to transportation (Taxis in this case). I stayed in room 642 which overlooks the main road. The Front Office staff and Housekeeping staff are very professional and helpful. But the Breakfast in the Mix is the most horrible experience any guest can have. The place was always dirty. I always struggled to have a clean table. The coffee machine was not working for several days. No proper Cutlery and Crockery. Unpleasant staff (with very few exceptions). In other words it is a disaster by all standards.

We stayed at Radisson Blu just for a day when we landed from Mumbai to Cairo early morning. The Hotel offers an excellent breakfast spread, which we relished after a long flight. The Hotel provides free wi-fi and provides all amenities required for a comfortable stay. The location is also convenient. Airport is just 5 mins drive. You can find good shopping centers too near the Hotel. Overall it was a pleasant stay at RB.

Stayed here 3 nights for work. First was a cash only 10 (eur or usd) only shuttle from the airport. When I only had Egypt Pounds they just rounded up and directly put it in their pocket at the front desk. Second breakfast was a joke. I am still not sure anyone but 1 chef works there in the morning. No clean tables or plates, finally the chef came out with 5 flights for the 20 of us standing in line. No coffee cups or coffee. But, it could be really nice. The cleaning staff folded my clothes that I didn’t put away and tidied up my toiletries which is always nice to see them take the extra step. Dinner was ok. Although the staff are annoyed to have to wait on you. Buffet does not include water apparently, so be aware you’ll see it on the bill. Other then that....I would keep your time here a minimum and you’ll be mildly satisfied

When you walked in the door and reception took for than 20 minutes to check you in then you know that this hotel has an issue with their staff. The guest room has a queen bedroom but was NOISY due to inadequate soundproofing to keep away the notorious Cairo streetnoise. Bed is comfy but pillows were way too high. Beware those has back/neck issues!! Breakfast spread was OK but strangely has no self serve juice station. One has to flag a waiter to request one and it's NOT fresh. Service was slow. Free wifi was OK. The only good parts was the fact it was close to Cairo airport, which coupled with $60++ rates makes it a viable accomodation if you're just transiting or has early flights out of Cairo. I personally won't be back.

This hotel shows signs of wear and tear but the rooms are good and it is so near the airport. I had really poor service at breakfast - the food is very good but the service is appalling. The welcome is fine and the lobby is friendly.

An excellent hotel with very helpful staff.High level of cleanliness and attention to detail. Located on the airport side of Cairo not in the Downtown tourist area. A good choice if you wish to avoid the high levels of traffic through Cairo on your way to or from the airport.

The hotel looks luxury from outside. The lobby, restaurant and swimming pool are quite good. The food is quite good and reasonable prices. But the rooms were so dirty. Dirty glasses, used pillow cases and bathroom would be cleaner. The room itself was alright, big enough and with all the facilities.

If you want a hotel near the airport and don't care if the cushions on your bed smell badly, the door lock is broken, the smoothing iron is filthy and the flex DANGEROUS, the ironing board is covered in stains, the furniture tired and old and the food decidedly average then this might be just the place for you. Did I mention the dirty tables in the dining room? I didnt try the spa or pool so they may be great! Easy trip to and from the airport pity about the rest.
