very posh experience in the heart of sheraton area right next to the airport. the food quality is marvelous and the hotel ambiance is overwhelmingly great. the rooftop pool is very relaxing and you will enjoy every minute you spend in the hotel. the staff are well acquainted and trained and the dining options are numerous. it is a very good choice.

This will be my second time staying at the Radisson Blu Heliopolis. I discovered it by complete accident in October as it was in close proximity to a hospital complex where a family member was having an operation. I decided to book with them again when I visited for tourism with my sister and nephew. The rooms at the hotel are modern and most are up to date and new. Some rooms are older than others but they are still clean and comfortable. Rooms were spacious with everything you need (amenities, compimentary water, tea and coffee, bath and shower, hair dryer, flat screen TV and wifi) Both times I stayed on higher floors overlooking the main entrance. The only comment I have about the room is the need for bathrobes in addition to towels, but I am not complaining. The room service people got extremely creative with our towels and left some beautiful designs on the beds that my nephew absolutely loved. I had a bit of a conundrum with my credit card this time and Mr Ahmed (forgot his last name, but he is a younger gentleman) was very patient and helpful throughout my mini panic attack. He assisted me as much as he could and accepted a combination of both credit card payments and cash payments until I was able to have some more money wired through. Please thank him A LOT for me, because his professional and calm demeanor has helped in calming me very much until the situation was resolved. I had booked a shuttle service with the hotel which picked me up promptly and I was checked in swiftly (after the credit card mess was sorted). My sister and nephew were arriving later on in the day and Mr Mahmoud and Mr Mohammed were extremely helpful in making calls to their shuttle person at the airport when my sister was delayed at the airport. My sister's bag arrived a few days late (airline's fault) and the concierge people were very helpful in following it up for us with the airport and assisting my sister who doesn't speak Arabic at the airport when she went to pick it up. They were also able to supply me with a number for a pharmacy when we needed some eye contact solution (re my sister's delayed bag). So again, many many thanks for being so helpful with this. We booked our stay with breakfast, and there is a wide variety of ever changing dishes every day. I was not bored for options. We also relied on some room service and laundry service at the hotel which was both professional and timely. The hotel has a lovely outdoor rooftop pool that my nephew enjoyed. I used the gym a couple of times as well, which is equipped with just enough to get a good workout, whether you're into cardio or strength training. I also used the bar at the hotel almost regularly for my caffeine addiction and some late night snacks. The staff were always professional, pleasant and friendly. I ordered takeout and had no trouble bringing in the food. You just need to sign a declaration (which is standard at hotels in Egypt). Security is very good with police and hotel security personnel present. I also relied on Uber whenever I went out (when we weren't booked with a tour) and had no issues from the hotel about this. The hotel has a few gift shops that we bought some souvenirs from and ATM machine that came in handy when I needed to withdraw cash. I will be staying at the hotel again and opted for a loyalty card with them, which was done swiftly and conveniently. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cairo for business or pleasure. And thank you again for making our stay so comfortable and so pleasant. I honestly cannot thank you enough for everything. I truly felt at home during my stays at your hotel.

This hotel used to be very well maintain but my last visit I was a bit dissatisfied. The staff remained just great and friendly but due to the economical situation in Egypt the standard dropped a lot. Again not fault from the staff but surely from finance point of view. Ben 🇨🇭

Ok for a business trip. Not the level I would expect from Radisson Blu. I suggest you driving with Uber, because the taxi service is so last century in this hotel: I ordered a taxi for next day 7am and it was not there, and they guy at taxi stand just said: you did not order me, you ordered some other guy who was here yesterday... this is not serious. Food: good SPA: you have to pay to visit, but SPA is excellent for and african hotel. Pool area also very nice to catch some vitamin D

from first day I feel am in home friendly staff warm welcoming special Abdul-Aziz he help us in lobby and we found him in business restaurant and also was helpful he knows every guest name come to restaurant and when we called room services he also delivered our order many thanks for all of you and him

If you are staying in Cairo more than a couple of days, I'd stay somewhere else. Its very handy for the airport but thats about it. As people have said - rooms smelt smoky, air con not very good. A rather superficial clean was done - don't look under the bed or behind the curtains - I found childs graffiti on the walls by the windows which shows that they haven't cleaned around the windows for some time. Breakfast is ok - but instant not fresh coffee - which is always a disappointment in my books. Decent selection of fruits, western cuisine and great local food. Helpful staff at front desk. WORD OF WARNING - Do not use the hotel taxi service. They are located near to the entrance - they ripped me off twice - one journey to another hotel - The Intercontinental - which is situated next to a huge mall in Cairo - you would expect any local person to know where it is located. They said they were going to charge me 200 Egyptian Pounds for the journey (Thats approx $12) I knew it was about a 20 minute journey - i checked on google maps while I was still in the hotel (using hotel internet). What a journey - One hour later the driver finally gets to the hotel - he was completely lost - stopped almost every minute to ask directions?! The next day, after speaking to some colleagues I decided to use Careem for the same journey...4 Egyptian pounds!! Unbelievable! When I complained at the taxi service place the guy smiled and said that 200 was the going rate and that there is nothing he can do about it. Use careem or get a taxi outside the hotel. Everything about the hotel is average (apart from the taxi service) hence the 3 star rating

Arrived after dark. Impressive lobby but lighting was so dim I needed to use the flashlight on my phone to see items being delivered from a jeweller. Buffet dinner display looked delicious but I only had soup and bread due to an upset stomach. I found the dining room really draughty from the air conditioning. The room was spacious and comfortable - loved the high back sofa - but, as in most of the hotels we stayed in, the tub was slippery. I travelled with a group tour so cannot comment on the value. Location close to the airport for our early start next morning was satisfied.

This is supposed to be a business hotel but there are so many things that are wrong about the rooms, I don't see how a business traveller would be satisfied with it. First, the room was warm, despite waiting for 1 hr for the aircon to cool the room (and at the lowest setting). After complaining twice, I requested for a change of rooms and the second room was only slightly better! Secondly, the room was dirty! I found strange hairs in the bathtub and a big ball of dust behind the room door.. it just showed that they hadn't bothered to vacuum behind the door and made me wonder what else they "skipped". We stayed a total of 4 days/3 nights and on the 3rd day after a day out, we came back to a dirty toilet - gross! My room-mate claimed she hadn't used the toilet and neither had I, so I wondered who had used it! We met another fellow traveller in the hotel and she had the same complaints - aircon wasn't working and dirty room. So it seemed like a common problem. This hotel doesn't meet the usual business standards!

Friendly staff with good service, ( it did improve a lot from last year). I ordered twice room service, once I had dinner at Filini Italian Restaurant and once at the buffet and the food & service was good. Rooms are wide and cosy with very confortable beds. The Hotel has an excellent location. Thank you to the all Hotel Team.

Room was outdated, dirty and with cigarette smell. The bathroom pipes were smelly and water in the shower was sifting from ice cold to boiling which made it hard to have a shower. Service at the breakfast buffet in the hotel was bad and terribly slow and the food was disappoinitng; the coffee specially bad. I was told breakfast was included in the rate but then insisted on charging it the day after while my colleague paid the same rate and had breakfast included. After about 40 min discussion we finally managed to check out and get on the car to the airport. We were 4 people travelling together so we booked two cars to the airport through the hotel. One car left first with two people since we were a bit delayed with the check out, the colleagues in the first car were charged for the two cars upon arrival at the airport; my other colleague and me were asked to pay for the cars before leaving the hotel which we did so we were tricked and paid twice for the cars.
