Poor service, we made reservations online but we got there to check in our rooms were not ready we had to wait 5 hours while the staff were busy trying to get our rooms ready. We had asked for a bed an breakfast rate but were later told when we went for breakfast that it was not included in our rate and had to pay for that separately. Resolved I won't be staying there ever again.
My husband and I stayed a night at Radisson Blu and the hotel obviously needs some maintenance work. The room is spacious but wasn't clean enough when we checked in. I've also noticed unprofessionalism while at the front office desk and service is very slow.
This is my second stay at Radisson Blu Hotel Cairo, and I can confirm that the receiption staff is not professional at all. Last year, they did not accept HSBC Entertainer app to have a one night free and they have also refused to give me a 10% discount which was valid for any HSBC Card holder. I did complain to HSBC last year and they did refund me with the 10% applicable for reservations with their card. It happened again this year, so I did not argue about it. I did have a half-board package to relax in the hotel, so the first night while having my dinner meal, two waiters came to ask about my room number. It was okay I told them, and then after finishing one of them gave me a cheque to sign so it was okay but I told him it is a half board room package, so he told me sorry there is no cheques to sign and they will confirm with the receiption team. The waiter came back and told me I have to pay in cash because the room is not a half-board basis, so I did go with him to the receiption and asked the receiptionest how? He looked into his computer and gave me another resident name! I told him who? This is not me! He kept looking and told me sorry confirmed your reservation is a half board package. The waiter also told me sorry sir. I thought this is a five stars hotel, but this should be really a three stars hotel for all the disputes you gonna experience there.
I had my Dinner There With My Friends From 2 Days Ago . The Food Has Low Quality, Service Is Very Slow .( i Asked The Waiter About Fork And Knife . Served To Me At lest After 10 Min ) Im Not Enjoyed Anymore And I Will Not Going There Again .
1. Airport Service - Immigration Support & Transfer to Hotel - Excellent 2. Front Office - Check in ---Very Poor 3. Room Spacious & Cleanliness - Below Average 4. Hotel Service - Very Very poor 5. Restaurant - Average 6. Locality - Good Place in Cairo to Roam around My Suggestion is not to Prefer this Hotel unless you dont have anyother choice
Havint an excellent location for a business traveller with good facilties, hotel suffers from poor management. 1.House keeping is worst. They didn't even changed soaps in our 5 days stay and served two small bottles of water per day in a business class room for 2 people. On request, the delayed service and repeated request sometimes did not make them respond. The curtains were in bad shape and so was basin tap and bathroom door. 2.The gym lock does not work and it also does not open at scheduled time of 6 am. 3.Smile is a rare commodity except probably concierge when you ask a question or want some help from anyone starting from security , including reception. Cannot believe it is a hospitality industry. 4.No newspaper in room 5.Buisness lounge service is below mark though food items are adequate except drinks
this hotel near from airport about 15-20 mints it's not huge hotel or small the service is special for each person you can chose your room different option very clean rooms ready in mints the food combined between Egyptian food and Eurpian food
We had a terrible experience. I booked the hotel for a day, really. We were on a long layover between Cairo/Luxor and our flight to Paris. We wanted to see the pyramids so we decided to book a couple of rooms to throw our luggage in and have a bit of rest in between before our 1am flight. They over charged us (because 1 room had 3 adults, although I had specified it in the booking), made us wait over 1 hour in the lobby (we arrived at 11am si rooms weren't ready, but surely a hotel of that size would have had two rooms ready. It did not look full at all) and then asked us personal questions at the reception about sleeping arrangements. WTF?! Will never go back there. Plus, it is not that convenient for the airport and they charged you for the 'convenience' shuttle. Some of the staff was nice, but mostly, they were quite antagonistic and unpleasant, which is not reflective of the warmth and hospitality of Egyptians.
I was surprised to see Radisson Blu's airport service. It was very helpful and convenient, and Ahmed from the dedicated airport team was great. The hotel itself is quite nice. I'm not so sure about the location, since it was my first time in Egypt, but I was told that it was in a good area as well.
Considering the price of this hotel, nearly 140 Dollars a night for foreigners, the low level of services in return is disappointing. The rooms are old, and the service at the reception is sub-par, the bars and restaurants are expensive with little to offer either. The hotel is more suited for Egyptians, since they pay half-Price of foreigners (1300 Pounds), which makes the Hotel reasonable and which is the reason why it is used by Egytpians a lot. The spa is ok too, but of course foreigners pay higher prices too. The rooms that face outwards to he 4-lane busy street are loud. On the plus side is a nice roof-toop pool and the vicinity to the airport, some restaurants and shops in the area around the hotel.
