3 nights in August 2017 and a very comfortable stay, staff all very friendly. Highlight was the great restaurants, local, Italian and Chinese. Rooms large and nice sheets and bedding, bathrooms large with lots of hot water. Great sanctuary from the noise of Cairo.
The Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza was an amazing experience. The hotel was nicely appointed and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great restaurants on property and nearby. Also, the concierge team Aya and Omar did a wonderful job of arranging activities all over the city for myself and a friend. Definitely coming back soon.
It's very hard not to write a good review; service is outstanding and very much to Four Seasons standards. Good selection of restaurants with very good food. The rooms are a little characterless but are exactly what you expect of Four Seasons - well proportioned and equipped and very comfortable. Great pool and pool bar, close to the very centre of Cairo. Has, along with its sister hotel in Giza, to be the most consistent five star hotel in Cairo.
I stayed at the Four Seasons in Cairo in August 2017 and it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. It really is the best service, view, breakfast, gym, and pool in Cairo. The room looks brand new, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The water pressure in the shower and bathtube are fantastic. You get what you pay for. The service really is absolutely incredible; the employees will anticipate your needs and help you before you can even ask. I cannot think of a way to improve the hotel. Despite being in Cairo, the room is very quiet and relaxing. There is free wifi, which works pretty well throughout the hotel.
I struggled a bit with the rating for this review as those who are used to true five star properties may find some of the facilities here somewhat dated and a bit worn. That said, it was clear to me that management here has an eye on this and that updates would soon be coming. On top of this the property has a wonderfully helpful, attentive and well trained staff that so compensated for any other deficiency that the five stars was deserved. Would definitely return. Location of the property had great access to both business and tourist locations. Concierge was super helpful for all activities.
We stayed here a number of times and enjoyed every occasion. Staff at all levels provided friendly, professional service. The amenities, food, gym was first class. Awesome vista over the city once the smog cleared a bit. Exceptional night view over Cairo. Steaks restaurant was my favourite. I enjoyed buffalo steak here which was one of the finest steaks I eaten. First class all round experience, and the police presence and security measures were on point. Thanks
Every part of my stay was amazing. The location was perfect, right on the Nile. The beds, bathtub, and room were wonderful. Great food, great lounge and lobby. Best hotel in Cairo. Very clean, very friendly, very great service.
I spent 3 nights at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza. It is widely regarded as the best in Cairo. (When I checked in at about 2am on Saturday morning, the quality of the outfits and handbags of the ladies of the night in the lift made this evident...). The Nile-facing rooms are awesome, with lovely balconies. Dont even stay here if you have to take a city-facing room. Should you want to spend time at the pool in the sun, just note that in July there is no sun from about 13:30. Great pool service! The spa and gym are both excellent, I had a great sports massage from Islam. Wahid was very helpful in the gym. However, I had some service issues. When I had user the caffeinated coffee pods in my room, these were all replaces by decaffeinated pods. The person at room service could not understand my query - and despite the fact that I took the coffee pod to reception, this was not attended to. Eventually I had to speak to SEVEN people to get the correct coffee pods. Also, I booked a morning trip to the pyramids and sphinx - to depart at 8 am. Apparently the driver had an accident and I was only collected at 9 am. Great guide and driver - Mohamed Ali and Meena. No effort to make up for this from the Four Seasons either - and I seriously wanted to leave because of the July heat. Also, they booked dinner for me at Dos Canas, horrible place which does not even take credit cards (and claimed to have advised the hotel of this when the booking was made). So - not exactly what one would expect from Four Seasons. You are probably better off (and will spend at least half as much!) at the Kempinski next door, where I stayed a few years ago.
The brand name of Four Seasons stand tall with their assured quality and services at this hotel. The staff are friendly, efficient and accommodating and even went the extra miles for my guests. The breakfast selection are simply terrific with such a wide range of international and local cuisines. Spoil for choices. Special thanks and acknowledgements to Mr Joseph N. Dimitri, Sales Manager whom has been excellent with his professionalism and efficiency in taking care of our stays. This is definitely one of the top best hotels in Cairo and would recommend it.
