Beautiful and peaceful

I really enjoyed my stay. This place is perfect for couples not many kids around. I was traveling with my nine year old and he complaint about the lack of kids to play with. Rooms are very clean the staff is so nice always going out of their way to help. The bell boys are the best taking you back and forth to the beach in the golf carts getting your car. The beach is gorgeous…food is good..hotel is very peaceful and quiet.

Was an amazing stay! Room was super super clean with a private balcony and could contact concierge at any time. Beach was basically private with clear waters and white sand, a true beauty. Food at restaurants and bars was excellent. Room service also great. They sent up complimentary champagne and cake for my birthday as a complete surprise. We rented a car so we could venture out to nearby towns some nights, this resort is about an additional 10min drive from the main road. Otherwise it would have been too expensive for us to eat/drink at the resort for every meal for 5 days straight. On that note was easy to get to Tamarindo and nearby beaches. Complimentary parking and valet service. My only tip for improvement was when approaching the beach area staff was hard to find/beach chairs were not always set up.

The hotel was visually appealing and the staff and service was very good. We stayed in the E Wow Suite which was fabulous. The property is very new. They need to work a little on their attention to details and management coordination. Overlooked detail: The foosball table in our room was covered with a large piece of glass. There was no way to get a ball into the table to play. So the table was a useless waste of space. Poor coordination: They closed one of the two pools for 3 days of maintenance on our 2nd day. Then they reserved the other pool and adjoining restaurant / bar / lounge for a private event. So when we returned from an all-day excursion and wanted to grab a bite by the pool, there was no where for us to go. They offered to set up a table where we could sit and eat. But that would have been awkward and an uncomfortable situation for us. When the poolside restaurant was available, the food offerings were themed with the Costa Rican Blue Zone of extended life expectancy. It's an interesting concept, but it didn't offer the kinds of food we wanted to eat poolside. The menus at the other restaurants were unappealing to our party, so we ate most meals using in room dining. The large suite offered nearly everything, including an unusable foosball table, but no table for sitting / eating / working on a laptop.

We stayed for 6 nights at the "W" at Reserva Conchal -- the hotel i8s unsurpassed in level of high quality and personalized service. Each staff member makes an effort to introduce themselves and attend to making your stay enjoyable. Incredible views located on a private beach within thousands of acres of a private reserve. Only drawback might be the food and alcohol prices are also extremely high end. But great resturants within 15 to 30 minutes are also available. Highly recommend getting your own rental car to have the ability to travel within 10 miles of the hotel, just use a designated driver as Costa Rican roads are narrow w/ many bikes, motorcycles, pedestrians, cows, iguanas, etc...
