Superb hotel, superb facilities, fantastic service. We were met with a welcome drink and the warmest of welcomes from the general manager. The bar area overlooking the pool is comfortable with a very pleasant ambiance to chill or have a snack. Our room which was a rainforest apartment was a short walk away on a board walk through the forested nature reserve. Golf carts were used to deliver our luggage. The room had 2 balconies viewing the forest, a sitting area, a walkin wardrobe, kitchenette with table and within kitchenette a washer dryer. Which was great for mid trip laundry. The bathroom also had a jacuzzi as well as a shower. The standard of furnishings was extremely high. This is a great place to see wild life as you stroll along the many boarded walks. Also with beach access. It's certainly worth a visit and we will definitely go back again on our next Australian trip.
Fab girls weekend away at the Bryon. Just love this place. So peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed lazing by the pool, an amazing massage, fab cocktails and great food. The staff were so accommodating, friendly and very international. Big shout out to the gorgeous Olivier who made our stay that extra special. We will back.
My husband and I spent four days here for a wedding anniversary and it was fabulous. The apartment was set in rainforest in a quiet location. Pool is stunning with backdrop of rainforest. Room was very clean and bed extremely comfortable.Service was good. Would definitely stay again for a relaxing, luxurious trip.
th eplace ha sa nice room surrounded by a rainforest all to your self. teh beach is about 15 minute walk but the place is isolated, so far from town with limited access except via taxi. nice pool and tennis court but didnt use its all ok but fo rthe money i wont be staying here agian, nothing nothing bad but nothing great just average
Weekend getaway with hubby. Just what we needed. Beautiful place to stay. The room was amazing. The facilities were a bit of a walk from the room but that’s ok. Beach 5 minute walk. Staff amazing. Pool amazing. Not close to town, that’s the only down side.
I felt like I was tucked away in a Central American bungalow during my stay at the Byron! This spot is nice and secluded (it's just outside of the main hub of Byron Bay), and you feel like you're a world away from it all with the sounds of rainforest life right outside your amazing netted patio. I went to the farmer's market with their chef and took an incredibly relaxing morning yoga class during my stay––both highly recommended. My only regret is not staying another night!
Set in 45 acres of rainforest and yet still within walking distance of the beach. This hotel is beautiful with excellent service. Short drive to Byron Bay but there is a complimentary shuttle bus to and from the hotel.
Loved this place, staff super helpful. Rooms beautiful, Breakfast extensive. Facilities and surroundings everything you need for a relaxing time in a beautiful part of Australia. We were there as a group of 41 and the resort could not have done enough for us. Check in, dinner function, transportation and directions - totally recommend. Have booked another group for next year.
In a word, absolute Paradise. Recently refurbished luxury accommodation in a tranquil and serene world class setting. Clearly the end product and culmination of decades of hard work. We stayed for 2 nights and it was one of those places that you did not want to check out of. Immaculate rooms and resort facilities. The staff are a dream, amazingly comfortable beds and delicious food to write home about! Zero Downside! We will definitely be back and thanks to Lyn and John for being such hospitable hosts and congratulations on achieving perfection in The Byron at Byron.
Overall the hotel, location, room and facilities were great. We liked that it was a 5 minute walk to the beach, because it means the beach is miles of totally unspoilt beauty. We sat and watched humpbacks on their migration. The pool is fantastic, warm, big and well attended. The spa was also very good, with excellent masseuse. The room was well appointed and had everything you could want. Only negative was the shower head was a bit mouldy, but apart from this the room was clean and well maintained. The only other negative was dinner, which was a comedy of errors and certainly not worth the money paid. On our second night we went into Byron had a much better meal, with much better atmosphere, for half the price. Overall, would happily return. It’s a great hotel, but we’d go into Byron for dinner.
