Great place to park yourself for a short or extended trip. Three bedroom terrace style apartments with everything you need in an apartment. Right across the road from the Beach and only a short ten minute stroll along the beach to the center of Byron Bay.
We were met by a smiling friendly couple in reception who were very helpful. We stayed in number 20 with friends. The apartment itself is large and quite adequate with a front and back door - the condition of it is reasonable but not brand new. It offers everything you need and I would definitely stay there again - pool area was very nice too. East on Byron is perfect for groups as our was a meeting of friends and family for a wedding.
We stayed here for our 'babymoon' for a week and I can't recommend it enough if you are after a nice relaxing break. Close enough to the action but far enough away so you can have some quiet time its the perfect balance. The pool is great (we spent a lot of time in it) and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely return when baby arrives as it's a great family vacation spot.
Located in the really relaxed quiet part of Noosa but unfortunately i had to put up with the 2 rooms next to me playing host to around 20 people who had a serious drug fuelled all nighter. Had people throwing up at 4am outside my room. I tried to contact any management but with zero luck. the next morning i finally got in touch with management at circa 9am. These people were still at it openly loudly talking about their drug use whilst stinking my room with smoke from the weed they were smoking!!!. Management finally came and told them to move it inside. After 14 hours of putting up with this with zero sleep i felt this was pretty ordinary. I checked out an hour later and was told "sorry about that" and that was the extent of the apology offered for a nightmare stay on what was meant to be a relaxed short getaway …. On another note i loved the location, the rooms are terribly dark receiving zero direct sunlight at any time of day, and the pillows are less comfortable than putting your head down on a park bench. They are seriously rock hard.,
Byron Bay was an eye opener. Worst thing: the noise at every restaurant we visited, including Treetops next door, where we got mild food poisoning after eating salt/pepper squid. Belongil at front was best for food and great service. Resort was as expected for over $300/night. Ideal modern set-up for families. Plenty of room. Across the road from beach. Quiet, comfortable, completely equipped accommodation including lock-up garage with our unit. We rode the new solar powered tourist train, enjoyed a cold drink at new pub at the end out of town. So far, train is an interesting experiment.
The 2 bedroom apartment was very well stocked with kitchenware and comfortable. BBQ was great and was used by us a couple of times. Location across the road from the beach was fantastic. Treehouse bar/restaurant nearby served nice pizzas and had live music. Great stay!
We loved this place. Really great stay for our family of four. Very spacious and clean and you only need to cross the road to be on the beach. The kitchen is well stocked for home cooking and has a great BBQ and outdoor setting area. The pool was clean and warm and perfectly situated for the kids to come and go while we could keep an eye on them from above. It is close enough to town in a short drive but we preferred being away from the hustle and bustle and to chill out at Belongil. The next door pub (Treehouse) and Cafe Belongil were each great for a meal and very convenient. Good coffee too. We will definitely be back. Thanks to Ian and his team for a great stay. John
A bit expensive - but we really loved being right across the road from beautiful beach - morning sunrise & evening sunset walks just awesome. Treehouse bar/restaurant a couple of doors down great vibe and excellent food. Only downside is its a bit too far to walk to town centre when it's hot - and driving in & trying to get a carpark was a nightmare
This spot is a real find; the apartments are clean and spacious with lovely private courtyards/ verandahs. Each apartment leads directly to a large, warm pool that is perfect for kids to play in at all hours as the lush native greenery shades parts of it throughout the day. This greenery also means that there's plenty of shade for the parents to lie back on the deck chairs and read a book. Belongil beach is a short (enough) walk to Byron, although you may want to drive if your children are toddlers. There are a few great cafes/ restaurants very close to the apartments so you might not feel the need to go into town anyway. A great spot to go away with other families as you're able to get your privacy whilst the communal areas are all that you need.
Very nice villa (number 25)! Contemporary/tropical design, clean, modern, 2 storey-villa: you really feel at home right away! Nice little private backyard with bbq. Pool for the resort (apartments also available): never used it since the beach is across the street and is so wonderful ! you can walk to town along the beach (1km). Definitely recommend the villas if you spend some time in Byron Bay!
