The location is right on the Hatteras beach with waves breaking almost under your deck. But the room, while in good repair and nicely clean was very small and Spartan. We expected housekeeping on Saturday and that didn't happen. The room amenities were the bare minimum. We liked the online reservation and checkin, but having to remember a 6 digit key code to get it the room proved inconvenient. On the plus side, the response to online messages was virtually instant. So a mixed bag. At the price, especially off season, more was expected.

We enjoyed getting away and this was a great place to stay, however, the price for the time of year was significantly high. I would like to stay here again, but only if rates were better aligned with off-season low traffic.

We had the ocean view executive suite and it was excellent. If you are looking for a simple getaway it's perfect. Very clean rooms, comfy beds, and great views. Only con I would say is the pillows are little too soft but that's nitpicky. Definitely recommend for a quiet getaway.

I was sent a code and link to check in or I could stop in the office to check in upon arrival. Stopped in the office and was checked in within minutes. Talk to the lady at the front desk about good places for dinner. Room was on The ocean. Was very clean and updated nice added touch to have chairs outside on the deck.

I loved that the room had an excellent view of the beach abd ocean. The room was very nice and clean. Location was great too. Lots of stuff to do in the area. Will definitely be staying there again.

Exemplary responsive helpful staff! Nice rooms, well kept with ongoing general maintenance. Great property with many regulars each year. Beach issues right now due to storms but there isn't anything the property management can do about that piece.

Great place with an awesome view

The place is awesome. Beautifull, clean and calm beach without cars. The service is fantastic. Rooms are clean and confortable. The bed was way too soft for us. Room and cleaned every mornings very early and because the hotel is made of wood, this is very noisy. Lots of restaurant options around but not in the hotel itself.

This was a wonderful place to stay in one of the quieter, more relaxing towns in the outer banks. The ocean is right outside your door. The room was spotless and super convenient. There is great shopping close by, and the residents are warm and inviting. Would definitely stay here again.
