I arrived with a coach party and was very dissatisfied with the room! 3 single beds in one small room. Bathroom very small and the shower even smaller! Water kept going hot and cold! Very dark! Now here comes the best bit.. the rooms are fitted with air conditioning units which when turned on work very well. However reception are the only ones that can switch it on and off! Even when asked bearing in mind its 32c average daily temperature they refuse to put it on as apparently it's on a timer.. I asked to see the manager and the receptionist was quite rude and made a phone call and then said he could put it on! Every time I went into my room I had to ring reception to ask for the air conditioning to be put on!!! Not acceptable!! Was a constant battle!! They are quick enough to take your money!!

Very bad experience, there is no hot water for the shower, the rooms are very dirty and updated. The wifi is poor and only works in the bar. The rooms are small, dark and dirty - the same goes for the corridors. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel either. This isn't a well run hotel at all. I cannot recommend anyone to come here .

Bad experience, as a family of four we were given a small room with a queen size bed and they just added two camp beds with really bad mattresses on them and no space to move around, the bathroom was really tiny and outdated.

We stayed one night with a group in this hotel. Rooms are very old fashioned, but pretty clean, toilet and shower also very old so it just gives unclean feeling..there was air condition in the room and it worked ok, only that it made a weird squicky sound. TV is extra small and it wasnt even plugged in (the antena). There is NO wi-fi in the room! The view from the room was nice, looked at the pool. We had to wait for our dinner for an hour and it was a buffet with a solid choice, only that there was just one choice for the meet-pork, that part i didnt like. But there was a great salad choice. Food was ok, the service no so much. We couldnt pay for our drinks with a card-it had to be cash?? The waiters practically kicked us out because they had another group coming in, so we were sitting not even for half an hour and we had to leave..very very unprofessional and rude. Location is not good, there is nothing around this hotel..only nice thing is the view of vineyards. I would not recommend this hotel, think there are much better choices for the same price.

This hotel is absolutely fine for large groups of students as it provides enough communal space indoors and outdoors. The pool would also be more popular in the summer. The positives end there. The hotel lacks any sort of charm, professionalism and real cleanliness. The wifi is poor and only works in the bar. The rooms are small, dark and dirty - the same goes for the corridors. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel either. Forget any nice, long walks as you will be faced with fast moving traffic and dodgy pavements. This isn't a well run hotel at all. I cannot recommend anyone to come here unless you are bringing a group of kids on a school trip and on a serious budget.

Arrived with my family to a room with no towels electricity not working toilets blocked how bad could this be !,, Receptionist rude unhelpful we had to go down five times over four hours to get towels . . Place is stink how can Italian authorities allow this . . Full of school tours . . Such an embarrassment

Okay, so I'd like to start this review by giving some background information. I went here on a school trip, for a week. I am unbelievably picky and I have severe OCD which means I read the previous reviews the week before I went and legitimately went on amazon researching hazmat suits. When I arrived, I was literally so surprised. Firstly, food. Actually, for a horrendously fussy semi vegetarian, the food is pretty good. OMG THE BREAD ROLLS AND TIRAMASU ARE THE BEST THINGS. I'd steer clear of the aubergine but that's my personal opinion because frankly, I think it tastes like plastic (all aubergine, that is!). 2.staff... WHATS WRONG WITH THE STAFF they're actually really nice and we barely saw them but they all seemed really friendly. The rooms were suprisingly clean, our sliding door was sort of broken but If there was so much as a stain in the bathroom or on a sheet I would have called my mum crying. I SWEAR TO GOD ITS ACTUALLY QUITE CLEAN AND IM A MASSIVE GERMAPHOBE!!!! 3.the pool is actually freezing so be careful but overall all hotel things can't be tarnished by the beauty of the view and how generally amazing the area is. I'd mainly recommend it for school trips because unless you're backpacking like a character from the beach, you can probably afford somewhere a bit fancier. The area and views are so beautiful, and I promise you that even if your room is a tad dodgy, you'll still find the trip amazing xxx much love!!

I visited the place for a school trip, it was the worst nightmare ever. First of all because the rooms were really dirty, secondly the quality of food. The last night we got all poisoned by the food, so our trip ended up in the hospital. I will never recommend this place, sleeping in a car would be much better!

My family and I were at this hotel for 5 nights. I was so very disappointed when we were given our room. It was a nightmare from hell, I was at the point of tears. Frankly they should not have accepted my reservation for a family of 4. The room was inadequate for the party size. A double bed with two Sgl beds squeezed into a standard double room. You couldn't swing a cat in the shower cubicle. There was a lot of rusty patches in 80% of the bathroom. The WC was in the most obsurd angle with a broken seat. Finally when we were moved on the 4th night to a suitable room, we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay. Block A is the place to be. The staff were friendly and polite and housekeeping did a fine job under the circumstances. Breakfast was awful not much of a choice. The hotel owner/s need to undertake an extensive refurbishment programme.

Just returned after a week half board. Food was good, breakfast buffet style, scrambled eggs, bacon or boiled eggs. Cakes, bread fruit juices and hot drinks. Evening meal was three courses, pasta to start then buffet main and desserts. Very nice, could maybe have a different dessert but tiramasu was very nice. Always plenty of fruit. Staff were very unfriendly and not very welcoming, no one was able to explain bus times, we learnt by out mistakes. They run every two hours so you need to plan ahead. Also for some reason they don't pass through and go straight to bussalengo, the best way is to check ahead. It seems ok prior to 5 o'clock ! Also there is no shop or anywhere to buy extras, very annoying. The bar is quite expensive and again very unfriendly. The location is very central and ideal if you have a car, pool is nice but could do with a clean. The rooms are clean and towels are washed daily. Not enough power points and only one mirror, not good for hair etc!
