Extremely noisy, people running and screaming in the corridors until midnight. Receptionists not pleasant. Huge complex, nothing charming in here. Breakfast absolutely disgusting, overcrowded. It was so cold that everyone had to wear jackets while eating. Don't go there, worst place ever.
There's too many negative comments to go into......my advice to anyone booking this hotel is don't bother......we only stayed one night under duress and that was one night too many ! Thankfully we were moved to a much nicer cleaner hotel!
This is not a great hotel. This isn't even a good hotel. There is no wifi, not in the rooms or the lobby, but somewhere around the pool area, but even there it's impossible to find good signal. Speaking of pool, it's big and usually clean. Rooms are unnaturally small, and my 2 friends and I couldn't put our suitcases on the floor at the same time so we can unpack, also the sink and the shower were clogged and we had to do shower, wash hands and brush teeth in our friends room. Also, we did inform the staff, but they did nothing about it for 3 days. So there's a minus on the staff, also they aren't helpful or nice, especially to english speakers.
Stayed for 3 nights in early September 2017. Location is not great, best is to get a car to move around. Nearest town is 5km away (Bussolengo) and the nearest town on the shore is 9km away (Lazise). The hotel is noisy, out-dated and worn, it really needs a renovation. Services need an update, too. It would be really nice to have a shop and vending machines for drinks and snacks (wink-wink). Pool was ok. Food services are barely adequate. The breakfast we had was lousy, the lowest should be continental breakfast (bacon, eggs, toast, salad etc.) but is not at the moment. The hotel is good value if you plan just to sleep there and spend your days elsewhere with other activities.
I went here with a school group, and overall meh don't really recommend it. Staff -cleaners cleaned the rooms everyday and did a pretty thorough job. -Bar staff were amazing, so friendly, funny and kind. -Receptionists and waiters we're very rude to Brits and locals. Screaming at young Italian children instead of speaking to there parents. The receptionist made the rules up as she went along, we locked our room key in the room and got to borrow the spare key to get it out, but friends of ours got charged £5 to borrow the spare (got money back when complained.) Food Breakfast and tea was horrible, they need actual toast for breakfast and not just cracker bread. Families seemed to get nicer food and treated different at meal times compared to the coach groups. But toasties served at the bar were lovely. Waiter tried to hit on a 15 year old girl on our trip, asking what car she drives and saying she was beautiful. The pool was very nice and rooms were clean enough. Nice little park for little ones. The wifi that is advertised didn't work at all. This place would do for a weekend holiday inbetween destinations, or as a place to sleep if the plan is to be out 90% of the time, as its only 10-20 mins away from the water parks and theme parks it's a bit further from Venice though.
Nice pool and outside area to relax but that's basically all!!!! Rude staff and not helpful , rooms horrible and door by balcony has a tiny lock on. We stayed for 2 nights and on the first day we asked for a tv remote, the following day still nothing until my husband went and demanded one. When we got the remote the tv kept jumping and was pointless even watching tv. One night with the dinner option... €15 for 3 course meal and £10 for children. Was average.... Wouldn't do it for more than 1 night. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. Area is in the middle of nowhere! U need a car or reply on public transport.. . Bus comes either every 2 hours and after that 4 hours! Get your timetable before waiting outside.
I recently stayed at Hotel Gardesano on a education related trip, for three nights. The atmosphere of the hotel overall is appealing. The staff are very polite, friendly and helpful, and the building is very well ventilated with excellent A/C in each room. However, there are some problems that should potentially be improved on. Firstly the breakfast and dinner buffet should be a lot more inclusive. There are very few options for lactose intolerant meals, gluten free, or vegetarian or vegan. As well, the food is very simple, and could be improved by having a wider selection. Secondly, as well as our school there were many others there too. As to my knowledge, our group was quiet and respectful of others. However this was not the case for other trips. Above us we could hear loud music past eleven at night, and constantly had teens run past our doors, bashing on them and cursing loudly. As our days were very packed and busy we needed sleep; this was not easily achieved. Other than those two problems, the hotel is an incredible place to stay with excellent facilities.
This hotel was very disappointing and definitely not one I would visit again. I attended the hotel as part of a school trip and found that the staff were hugely unwelcoming and in some cases very rude to us. The worst part for me was at dinner and breakfast times at the buffet restaurant, as the waiters were rude and the man who I assumed to be the restaurant manager was extremely impolite and was prejudiced against the schools compared to the other paying members. At one point when another school was attending dinner at the wrong time, he assumed that we were in the wrong places and became increasingly angry with us at which point I tried to get him to wait for me to find my teacher instead of yelling at me. However, when the matter was sorted out he continued to act in a hostile manner and try to hurry us along constantly, making meal times hugely stressful. The rooms were pretty poor and the pool quite dirty. Overall I was very glad to be leaving!
It's clear... this is not the best hotel in Italy... definitively. We have been several times to Verona and it's always difficult to find the right deal between City and the Garda lake - where you can access easily by car and having a pool... and for several times... we go to this center ! Be aware that the Wifi is really poor...
Terrible place Dirty rooms, filthy pool, finding little to say positive. Depressing prison camp atmosphere. Yes view nice and pool of clean would be nice Pool view room would be 100 percent better than rooms st back down long dark corridors with no view Balcony huh! Nothing to sit on and as I've said no reason to want to sit there and look in to room opposite Worth £30 for a single room, but dread to think what it would be like? So paid £60 for a double and yuk! Looking for a place for a week - not here!
