Great location in downtown Buena Vista. I was able to walk almost everywhere in this charming downtown area. The apartment is cozy, clean, and had excellent water pressure in the shower!I’ll definitely stay there again next time I’m in the area!

Pluses: unit was clean & quiet. One bed was comfortable, the other was like a brick. Minuses: Unit is up a steep flight of stairs which was a problem. This was not in the description. The commode is on a platform that made it difficult to use & the shower was extremely slippery. *disclosure* I personally didn’t stay here - my husband & son did. I’m relaying their review.

Buena vista retreat

Great site as my sister-in-law joined my husband and me for a family wedding. The 2 bedrooms worked well, two sitting areas and well equipped kitchen (even though we didn’t used it for meals). Very easy walk to town with charming stores and yummy restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Appreciated off street parking Fantastic property manager!!! Much easier to work with than others.

Nice base for outdoor adventures

Nice place, my son and I stayed four nights and went hiking and enjoyed the separate rooms and were able to cook a couple meals. Gets hot in the summer sun and probably not a place to spend all day at since it’s kind of dark, but we were going to bed early to get up early and head into the mountains so it was perfect for us. Host was easy to reach and place was very clean and easy to check in and check out. Would stay again with a hiker agenda.

Good landing ground for guys trip

4 friends from Kansas to hike for the weekend. This property was great for our stay. It was clean and the host was great and very hospitable. Very reasonably priced vs. other options in the area. King, Queen, and a couch to sleep on were sufficient for what we needed this weekend.

Cozy little apartment

We have a very comfortable stay in Buena Vista! Thank you Deanna for being so accomodating. We love the old fashioned decor and the convenience of the location. Highly recommend! Just be careful on the stairs! :)

Great location and very charming!

A very comfortable upstairs apartment! Complete privacy with separate entrance. The downstairs is a business of some sort but bo impact whatsoever on our stay. They furnished it with everything you would need. Definitely a do over!

We stayed here for a week in the summer. The place was great - perfect location, in center of town, but still quiet. The property was clean and well equipped. The property manager was very responsive and accomodating.

Location! Clean! Responsive communication!

My sister and I spent 2 delightful nights in this mountain retreat! We found it immaculately clean, the beds were very comfortable, and there was a lot of space created for use in this upper story of an older home. It was also furnished decoratively and usefully with amenities we could use. The location was perfect for exploring Buena Vista and for use as a starting point for our day trip to Crested Butte. The only reason I gave a couple 4 stars was due to our age--we are both in our seventies--and I didn't realize (at least I don't remember the listing mentioning) that the unit was accessed by climbing a fairly steep and significant number of stairs, making carrying luggage up and down a somewhat difficult task. We are "flat landers" as well--haha!--so younger people already used to climbing mountains would find this no challenge. My sister is also sight-impaired, presenting her with more challenges. But overall, we loved our stay there, and I can't emphasize enough how responsive and personable both the owner and the property manager were to our needs! If stairs don't bother you, quickly make a reservation to have a stay in this Mountain Retreat!

A last minute addition to our trip. This is a lovely little apartment. We really enjoyed our stay. Perfectly located in the center of town. Within walking distance of the park. Had a good workout on the stairs, haha. Make sure to bring a fan for a little extra air circulation. Host is very helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay again.
