This is a beautiful 2100 square foot Colorado home with new paint inside and out and new furniture. The kitchen was remodeled and added top of the line Kenmore appliances, granite and tile. Starlink internet was just installed with 200 MB's. Just 10 minutes from the Monarch Mountain ski area, historic Salida and the Arkansas river nestled in the shadows of Mt Shavano.

This property is centrally located just minutes away from hundreds of hiking, biking, ATV and Jeep trails and to the Arkansas river with over 9 rafting companies that specialize in navigating the river up to and including class 5 rapids. The Arkansas is also known for fishing and kayaking and hosts many competitive sporting events a year.

Walking distance from the front door is the Mountain Spirit Winery, a lovely must visit located on the south fork of the Arkansas River.

Please keep in mind that in the winter, front wheel/four-wheel drive vehicles or vehicle chains may be required to maneuver not only the short gravel road leading to the house, but will certainly be required when traversing the pass to get to Monarch Mountain.

Outdoor security cameras are on the property and include a doorbell camera and eve cameras facing north and East. These cameras are for the security of the property and at no time do we keep or store footage of any kind.

As the owners of Shavano Vista we want all of our future guests to know that we are taking every precaution to ensure that our property is cleaned and disinfected according to the CDC/State of Colorado/Chaffee County guidelines after every booking. Our staff has been briefed as to the proper procedures/methods/solutions to use to make sure our property is free of all potential germs. However, we do encourage our guests to bring their own cleaning remedies if they would feel more comfortable doing so. We also ask that if you feel sick, please stay home. Your safety and the safety of our future guests is the most important thing to us. We can provide any detailed information on our cleaning/disinfecting plan by request.

All gatherings either inside or outside shall be limited to no more than 10 people. Property is equipped with 3 exterior security cameras.
